John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?

Beta Ray 28 - I started collecting when I was a kid but mostly posters and toys, since then I have amassed a collection that takes 1 room in my house as well as places around my house.

John Arturo - Your collection seems to contain lots of all sorts of action figures and collectibles. Did you buy those Star Wars and Batman carded figures during the time they were released or did you get them over time?

Beta Ray 28 - I started to collect advertising merchandise lucky for me I work for a grocery store and have friends who keep a look out for stuff in fact I have some stuff still in boxes never opened.

John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?

Beta Ray 28 - I also collect comics and am a huge KISS fan so I have figures, posters and t-shirts of KISs, comic book stuff and sci fi stuff.

John Arturo - What are your favorite collectible companies?

Beta Ray 28 - I would say Mattel is my favorite toy company because I am huge DC comics fan and I love the DC Universe collection I am still working on it.

John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?

Beta Ray 28 - I would say my favorite part of collecting is seeing people's faces when they see it even those who don't care about comics and sci fi.

John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?

Beta Ray 28 - I am still looking for more vintage Star Wars. My little brothers got hold of my stuff many years ago and trashed it, since then I have been on the hunt. In fact I finally got an AT-AT and put together an army with it and other star wars vehicles.I am searching for R2-D2 to go with my C3-PO and Obi-one and Darth Vader(with jacket) and my favorite star wars character Yoda(with jacket, cane and snake).

John Arturo - What does your significant other think of your collection?

Beta Ray 28 - Lucky for me I am single..hint,hint ladies..so no "you spent how much at comcicon??!!!"

John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?

Beta Ray 28 - My favorite character is Batman and my favorite movie is Tim Burton's master piece 1989's BATMAN I still would love to meet Michael Keaton. I love what Nolan has done but since I first saw Keaton in that suit I was hooked in fact I made a costume close to his and where it halloween.

John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?

Beta Ray 28 -

John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?

Beta Ray 28 - I just got a piece that took me 20 years to get but I finally got one and that's my 89 BATMAN vinyl statue of Keaton as Batman. I got it online but it was worth every penny.

John Arturo - Finally, what is your favorite aspect of ComicBookMovie.com?

Beta Ray 28 - I love CBM and the fact that the fans can post stuff and let there voices be heard. To finish I am still collecting and will even when Ms. Right comes along and for those who think people like me are crazy we are and remember that. And in the word's of KISS, "It's my life and I'll do what I want to!!"

The thing that I hate about this Collector of the week thing is that it makes me extremely jealous. This is such a freaking awesome collection and I highly doubt I will ever have a collection like this.
