John Arturo - When did you start collecting and how did you get into the hobby?

obafsal - I started when I was little, like 7 y/o, my father used to get me a new comic book every week if I got good grades, I ended up being at the top of my class. About toys, just a few years ago, I think 2005.

John Arturo - You collection mainly consists of Marvel collectibles, what draws you to Marvel over another company like DC Comics?

obafsal - I started reading Spider-Man and basically that was all I read when I was little, but whenever there was a crossover with any other character, that I didn't know at the time like Daredevil, Spiderwoman, X-men, Avengers, etc, then it got me interested in the other characters as well, never really got into DC much, although I like Wonder Woman.

John Arturo - Do you collect anything else?

obafsal - I collect movies too but I collect mainly comic books. I didn't send pics of all of them but I have quite a few...

John Arturo - What are your favorite collectible companies?

obafsal - Hasbro, Bowen and Diamond select.

John Arturo - What is your favorite part of collecting?

obafsal - There is something about collecting my favorite characters from when I was very little. It reminds me of my childhood I guess, that is my escape from reality.

John Arturo - What is the key thing you look for in an item you want to add to your collection?

obafsal - I like an item that is very well manufactured. I don't like some action figures that look like they were painted by a 6 year old.

John Arturo - What is your favorite movie?

obafsal - Comic book movie-wise, I'd say the first Spider-Man, mainly because it capture the essence of Peter and his discovery of his new-found powers, besides the final fight vs. Green Goblin is bad-ass!!! I like also Iron Man, Captain America (GREAT MOVIE) the first Fantastic Four, campy but I enjoyed it, the Incredible Hulk (2008), Thor, and Batman Begins (smart movie).

John Arturo - What is your favorite piece from your collection?

obafsal - Probably Iron Man, that one looks amazing in real life and the Bowen Designs Loki!

John Arturo - What are some items you are most looking forward to adding to your collection?

obafsal - Right now, I'm looking out for something that has a more "realistic" feel, close to the comics.

John Arturo - Finally, what is your favorite aspect of ComicBookMovie.com?

obafsal - I loooove movies, and since I like comic book movies too well this is a no brainier, I check the site everyday just to see what's new, besides, the posts of some people make me laugh! lol

Great collection. If only my wife would allow me to have all of those around the house. I have the MacFarlane Horror figures but those are in the basement (the man room) now because of my daughter. Sigh...

Thanks guys for all your comments !
why did I collect Super Hero Squad ? honestly I think they look 'cute' LOL

The Fantastic Four poster is 27 x 40 inches, I assume is legit, my ex gave it to me, he said he got it in an auction and again, I assume he was the highest bidder...

Happy New Year 2012 to all of you guys !!!
