With "Thor" coming upon us soon, expect to see lots of cool Thor related merchandise being released starting soon. Bowen Designs is one of the companies gearing up for the big release.

Today via his Facebook page, Randy Bowen debuted a few images of his upcoming Beta Ray Bill statue. The statue was digitally sculpted by Jason Smith and the prototype you see below was painted by the super talented Dan "Danno" Cope.

i never liked beta ray bill. he looks like a goat or a horse. but he was kinda cool in planet hulk

Beta Ray Bill was FREAKING AWESOME IN PLANT HULK. I love that part were he takes a mace to the head like it was nothing. So cool. Yes, he is kind of creepy/ugly, but it helps make him unique.

I hope BETA RAY has a quick cameo in THOR,
Like a crowd scene or sumfink with him in da background.

I also would love to see a solo film from him once MARVEL have got all the main heroes up & running

Beautiful! Some people would see me hung for this but, I like Beta Ray Bill more than Thor. Really like the statue.

Beta Ray Bill > Thor
Anyone who says otherwise obviously knows nothing about the character.
I'm hoping that after the Thanos Imperative he gets to be a big name in Marvel's Cosmic line, because he needs to be in stuff more regularly.
He's had a couple limited series over the past decade, but nothing solid.

Beta ray is hela dope. I really dug him In planet hulk as well. I like him better than Thor also. The paint job on this is sweet. I just wish his pose was more dynamic not just standing there

I agree with deadpool72, Walt Simonson reintroduction of Thor and introducting Beta Ray Bill really turned an otherwise boring Thor comic into one of the best runs of a comic ever. Walt's writing and art were outstanding and the comic's sales proved it. Beta Ray and his story would be an easy translation to film I think.

Well, obviously BRB won't be in the Thor movie at all, they'll make him the primary plot for the sequel.
Marvel wants to start making Cosmic Movies after the Avengers anyways, so what better way to bring Bill into it than via Thor?
