As production kicks of on Universal's reboot of horror classic The Mummy, the first set snaps have found their way online courtesy of Coming Soon. Nothing terribly exciting, but stars Tom Cruise and Annabelle Wallis (Peaky Blinders) can be seen in character while shooting a scene at night on the streets of Oxford in the UK.

Alex Kurtzman is at the helm of The Mummy, which also stars Sofia Boutella (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Jake Johnson (New Girl, Jurassic World). The reboot is set for a June 9, 2017 release.

@Shanksman - Me personally Tom Cruise is not a huge draw for me. Not saying he is a bad actor but him being in a movie doesn't draw me to the theater.

@pesmerga44 - I dont hate the dude. I know alot of people do because of Scientology shit, but people cant deny he is a superstar and have lots of charisma. I can see why you're not exited, but im very hype to see him in a Mummy movie.
