With a current
Rotten Tomatoes score of just 23% and more than a few scathing reviews, Universal's
Dark Universe is getting off to an auspicious start.
The Mummy is currently tracking for a $35 million domestic debut which will place it second after WB's
Wonder Woman. The review embargo lifted yesterday evening and critics have not been kind. Who knows how this will effect the film's performance this weekend, which is already down from its initial projection of $40 million.
