Tom Cruise headlines a spectacular, all-new cinematic version of the legend that has fascinated cultures all over the world since the dawn of civilization: The Mummy.

Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen (Sofia Boutella of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

The Mummy features:
Director: Alex Kurtzman
Tom Cruise as Nick Morton
Sofia Boutella as Princess Ahmanet/The Mummy
Annabelle Wallis as Jenny Halsey
Jake Johnson as Sgt. Vail
Courtney B. Vance as Colonel Gideon Forster
Russell Crowe as Dr. Henry Jekyll/Mr. Hyde
Javier Botet as Set
Selva Rasalingam as King Menehptre
Dylan Smith as Lorenzo Montanari
Rez Kempton as Foreman
Chasty Ballesteros as Kira Lee

i'm gonna be cautious with this one. i think there is a chance that the script sucks. i don't wanna see this going Jack Reacher 2 path. maybe at least the action will be decent. JR2 disappointed me on that level too.

@jerryblake - shhhh we don't bring up reacher 2.

We got four terrible movies the second half of last year: Xma, SS, JR2, R1. I walked out of all of them except for rogue one because it at least looked pretty.

But SS and JR2 went beyond that; they are some of the worst movies I have ever seen in the theaters.

Thank you logan, I thought I was never going to see a good film again.

Tranformers new trailer seems worst. it only works (oh boy) once they are in England and showing (o shit) some King Arthur stuff. and to my surprise it's the best thing about this trailer. when they are going for America it feels just like "Transformers 4". The movie will be probably as much badly edited and too long.

Don't think I didn't notice that Gillman easter egg/cameo in the TV spot. The Mummy is going to be trash but atleast I'll finally get my Creature from the Black Lagoon remake...hopefully.

Cruise gonna be the Mummy at the end of the film, I don't know how they going to justify that, but I'm pretty sure he would be The Mummy at the end.
