Well I'm not good at reviews and I dont want to tell any spoilers so im just going to say what i thought about the movie.

Now that the important part has been revealed... What did I think of the Wolfman remake? First I was very happy with the overall atmosphere that Johnston provided for the movie. I couldn't help but get caught up in the gloomy shadows and fog like I did with the original and later Hammer offerings. The woods and London set pieces are a gem to watch and give a better feeling of the time period then recent efforts did--such as Sherlock Holmes. The FX are also quite good which I was worried about the most. The creature changing works much better on the big screen than it does in the trailers.
The plot varied a little from 1940 movie, but had plenty of nods, which is a good thing as it needed some more 'meat on the bone' but it also makes it uneven--sometimes feeling like the story is being added as you watch.
Benicio Del Toro and Mr. Hopkins deliver good performances as you expect but feel slightly subdued leaving the most memorable duties to Hugo Weaving and Emily Blunt. These two added much needed emotion and sparkle to the whole thing.
Johnston has done a great job with the action, especially with the first killing spree and London chase. My favorite part is at the end. I will not go into detail but it gave me a sense of the kind of CBM we can expect with Captain America.
I decided not to give a plot summary because it's best to go in with the memmories of the Lon Channey Jr version and go from there. Overall this is not a perfect film but one I enjoyed a great deal, and one that I had so much fun watching and will watch again.
