Avengers - Putting an end to the mindless bickering.

With the release of the highly anticipated movie approaching soon, Let's take a step back and put things into perspective.

Editorial Opinion

Every piece of news that comes out with the Avengers is overly critiqued, over analyzed, and Trolled. These are a few of the things that need to stop, especially for the sake of just enjoying a movie.

Ok by show of hands..... Everyone that has seen the movie raise your hand and please give us your opinion on the 2.5 hour movie you saw...... I'll wait...

Ok since no one has seen it yet, how does any of the following points make sense to even say.

#1. If I hear it's not Cinemaic enough one more got damn time ima lose my mind, NONE would have said this if not for the ONE person who saw it, YET every one on here says it has a Transformers feel.... And if you dare say Transformers wasn't Cinematic kill yourself.... You people have no idea what you are talking about and your babbling is going to ruin the experience of the movie. STFU

#2. Juggling multiple characters.... The biggest idiot on earth will tell you Joss Whedon specializes in multiple characters... That's ALL he has done, and has been praised for this work... Should be the least of people's worries.

#3. Who's perspective the movie is told from... As many times as this has been brought up, not one person has accurately respond with what it really means. The perspective the movie is told from is just a narrative pilot for the characters, not the audience.

#4. No storyline... REALLY? As Comicbook fans WE KNOW THE STORY, how in the hell are you even on this site and NOT know the storyline for this movie? Avengers all solo acts, Loki steals Tasseract, Fury needs to assemble team to defend the world, Avengers don't get along, Loki has army, Avengers have Hulk, Avengers save day.... That's the basic plot.... How do,you not know that? Things we don't know are how we will see it come to fruition. Also Joss Whedon one of the best story developers in writing, is a passionate comic fan... I have NO DOUBT in what he will deliver

#5. We have saw too much footage, Marvel please.... Stop promoting your biggest movie yet, and the movie you have been planning for 7 years, because we all on comicbookmovie.com have saw sooooo much footage that you have given away the whole movie.
*sigh*
We spoil it for ourselves because we can't resist clicking on a link to new footage, new spoilers, etc.... The general public who don't go out of their way to watch every single thing, may have just seen one of the TV spots, or just saw the Trailer... Stop complaining very idiotically that out of a total of 4 minutes of footage in a 2.5 hour movie that we have seen "Too Much"

#6. I'm sure we are all experts at predicting box office numbers, and it's fun throwing around numbers for opening weekend, and total gross. But keep this in mind. People that do the statistics for a living predict this movie to break records, the hype for this movie is very high, And frankly we ALL should pray this movie breaks every single record possible, opening the door for MORE comic movies. Im a huge Marvel head, but I do love DC and I hope this leads to a Justice League movie. Hope it leads to Warner giving franchises to other DC characters... If this movie fails... So much bad can and will happen

Which brings me to my last point #7.

STOP COMPARING AVENGERS TO BATMAN!!!!!!!
Marvelite vs Nolanites... All this retarded back and forth.

Christopher Nolan has an extremely impressive track record, The Dark Knight Rises, will NOT disappoint. So Marvel fans, stop your damn hating,
Nolan has created a realistic world that Batman lives in, comparing the two movies together when Marvel's world has a Thunder God, Super Soldier, Aliens, A green Gamma monster and a Cosmic cube, is ridiculous.

Dc & Nolan fans.... Marvel has established a brand, they have created franchises from B-list characters and a steady plan for a never before done achievement in movies, bringing characters into one universe and one movie....
Don't hate Marvel, applaud them, because their success will result in DC following suit... And the ENTIRE comic book movie genre wins.

Enjoy the movie, enjoy the moment, don't deprive yourself of partaking in the worlds excitement for such an epic important time in movie history. As a football fan a am a Tom Brady fan & a Peyton Manning hater... But the idea of Peyton retiring made me realize how foolish I was for not giving him credit, props, and appreciating the greatness he is when he steps on the field. Put my fan hat away and enjoy a great QB

Put your personal bias aside and enjoy a GREAT event and hopefully a GREAT movie (Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, AND Amazing Spiderman)

Don't get your panties in a twist. This site features comments by many people who want to say something besides: "awesome!"

If you let criticism get to you, then you're going to be a slave to it. Do you think Joss Whedon or any of the actors involved in the project REALLY take into consideration the crazy comments on this site? I'm not certain, but I have a feeling they couldn't place ComicBookMovie.com if they were asked about it.

Well said. People need to stop hating on everything and enjoy stuff more.

Tainted87 Stating your opinion is completely different than bashing something. Which is what HumanTorch83 was talking about. Clark Gregg does visit this site at times. So yeah. Probably most don't still some do. :) But HumanTorch wasn't even talking about that so I don't quite see your point... but oh well.

Nice read. Good points all! BUT, Tainted87 hit the nail on the head. Ya got to take all of the BS in this site with a grain of salt, buddy. Yeah, there are idiots on here, but mostly its all in good fun.

Tainted I understand where you are coming from. I've just always been bothered by stupidity.
I hate clicking on a link and going to the comments to see everyone's opinions, ideas, thoughts and having to weed through all the hollow arguing. It's like every single article has this.

Figured I'd make one big editorial where we can all get it out our systems and we can find some common ground of sensibility.

This happens all over the internet. Seriously, just look at the IMDB boards for both TDKR and The Avengers. I agree it can be annoying, but we shouldn't let these comments get to us.

What's the point in telling everyone to stop with all their opinionated comments. That's what the comment section is there for! For people who are bored at home to read about their favorite or least favorite CBM's and then either praise, rant, debate, analyze, troll or just post pictures of boobs on. It's all part of what makes this site fun and if you get sick of reading all the hateful comments you wouldn't still be coming here like the rest of us do.

I just find it funny how many people are determined to come on here and try to solve the problem by writing up an article saying the same "can't we all just get along" crap that we see every day on here and think it is actually going to change a thing. Stop thinking about how to fix the problem and start asking yourself do I really want to fix the problem?

It's not cinematic enough. Seriously, I just felt something was off about the film's composition from the teaser and trailers. Once the "insider comment" dropped, I realized how perfect that description was. 3rd Generation TV writer Joss Whedon and DP Seamus McGarvey should of stuck with 2.39:1 Scope. Otherwise, it looks fun and I can't wait for the possibly quintessential superhero cinema event of a lifetime.

Nice article, I agree with everything in it. However, like some others have said, the complaining and trolling is just something that happens on every site with a message board. There will always be people that want to bash things. Its unavoidable, unfortunately. Even when their rantings are completely unfounded.

Just like when the first leaked set photos of Batman and Bane fighting came out. They were not official pictures and had absolutely no production or special effects in them, yet when they were released, people already made up their minds that the movie was going to suck...based solely on some crappy set photos.

But y'know, what can you do? The internet has quite a few close-minded and young people that either choose not to see things clearly, or are just ingnorant.

Just ignor them, thats the best policy, even though i tend to get sucked into stupid debates from time to time too, lol.
