Can’t wait for Sherlock’s Season 4? You’re not the only one. The series’ star, Benedict Cumberbatch, is very eager to start filming for the acclaimed series. Watch out for some possible spoilers below.

In an interview to MTV, the British actor shared some interesting information. When asked if his arch-nemesis in the series, Moriarty, was still alive, he said: “Yeah, I think so," he told MTV. However, he will "casually choose to forget in order to rediscover it again a little bit.". He also said "We get a rough idea of where it's going to go before we get the script. But I like casually forgetting, not least because there's a lot of other traffic between then and now, but also because it's more fun because it's slightly more fresh."

When asked if Moriarty has also faked his death, the series’ show runner Moffat, had this to say "I can't really say what we're doing with that, but there is no last-minute whim in this," the show runner admitted, "We've had what we're going to do with Moriarty in place from before the second season. Exactly what we're going to do. I remember talking it through with Andrew Scott, who plays Moriarty. Wait and see what's going to happen."

Now comes the most interesting part. It’s been reported that a third Holmes brother will appear in the fourth season. Mark Gatiss (who plays Mycroft Holmes in the series) earlier joked about asking 'Thor' star Tom Hiddleston to take the role. Although (still) a joke, this would bring a new fan base to the series, which is already amazingly high. So what do you think? Excited for Season 4? Share your thoughts below.

Is Hiddleston Thorpe because that's the only brother Sherlock has ever had. In the books their's only Mycroft.

@monkeyballs

Firstly, you're talking to no kid. Secondly, if someone is such a huge fan of the series in order to read an article talking about a season that will be released only in 2016, obviously they know who Moriarty is. Thirdly, it took time in order to make this article, so a little respect is always nice, specially when you don't know who you're talking with. Fourthly, in order to avoid further complaints, there you have the new title.

@Urubrodi

You should check out Josh Wilding's article on how to make a proper title and teaser headline. Your title is ok, but the series name should be in all capitals (eg. SHERLOCK), and there are typos in the teaser, along with it being too short.

You're new here, and this is your 1st article I presume, and it looks great. But, you should proofread and familiarize yourself with the article writing guidelines. Monkeyballs is simply trying to help, in his own way.

@MercwithMouth

I got what you said and agree with your remarks. I also understood the point made by @monkeyballs, just didn't like his way of expressing his opinion. Maybe I was a bit too harsh in my reaction and I'm sorry for that. This was not my first article though, it appears this way because I just created my fan site. Anyways, thanks for the help, the title is fine now.

@TheDudeRusty
When Arthur Conan Doyle wrote first Sherlock Holmes stories the character was called Sherrinford Holmes, in 1962 Sherlock Holmes biography came out and it stated that Sherrinford would be Sherlock's oldest brother. In S03E03 of Sherlock, Mycroft mentions to a colleague, who wonders Holmes brothers relationship, "You know what happened to the other one." This could be the third Holmes boy the series.

I found S2 was the best one.

I remember reading they would tell exactly how Sherlock faked his death. I so much want to know, even if it is not essential, apparently. I felt like Anderson, making up theories about it.

S3 was a bit of a disappointment because : [ !!! SPOILERS !!! ]
1) Mary. OK I understand John had to keep on living his life but she sort of disrupted the Sherlock/John dynamics, no matter how hard the showrunners tried to not put her in the middle of them and their cases. And now with a baby on the way...
2) Magnussen. After Moriarty, such a weak and pale in comparison villain.

Benedict and Martin are just perfect in their parts.
If Loki joins the family, they will just not be able to shoot in the streets of London.
