Next year's big-screen reboot of the "A-Team" will be one of many films receiving some attention from the comic book world in advance of its arrival in theaters. IDW Publishing will be launching not one, but two series following Hannibal, B.A. Baracus and the rest of their mercenary crew.

Titled "The A-Team: Shotgun Wedding" and "The A-Team: War Stories," the two series will not only feature the beloved television series' characters (in the likenesses of the new actors playing them), but also offer up some brand new stories of their adventures.

IDW has offered Splash Page readers the first peek at some early art from "The A-Team: Shotgun Wedding," written by Joe Carnahan and Tom Waltz with art from Stephen Mooney — including the ridiculously cool covers to the first and second issues, as well as several inked pages.

Official solicit text follows:

The A-Team: Shotgun Wedding #1
Joe Carnahan, Tom Waltz (w) • Stephen Mooney (a) • John K. Snyder III (c)

the extent of my knowledge on the A-Team is what I saw in Family Guy and Robot Chicken parodies as Ive never watched the show
BUT
the cast does look pretty good and the concept is something that could be entertaining so Im probably going to check this movie out
Liam Neison can do no wrong in my opinion (Jar Jar Binks not withstanding)

So what the interior artist is too lazy to draw out two similar panels, but instead copies and pastes with one minor change? What's the point?

If I had to guess, they left out any pages regarding vocal interaction because they didn't want to give the story away?

I know the dialogue isn't in there, that doesn't excuse just repeating the same damn image. I know artists get stripped for time, but a scene so plain you would think he could have drawn it.
