Too Little Too Late for NBC Power House Heroes

Too Little Too Late for NBC Power House Heroes

The ratings from the two hour premiere are nearly half of last years

Season Four of NBC's Heroes premiered on Monday night with a well advertised two hour event. It is unfortunate that the once triumphant show alienated its fans with disjointed story lines and repetitive, mopey characters two seasons ago.

The two hour premiere seemed to be on a solid course to "Redemption" (fittingly, the seasons title), unfortunately no one was watching. Heroes brought in 46% less viewers than the premiere of season 3, with only 6 million people watching. In the bigger picture of the series, the very first episode of season 1 brought in 14 million, and the highest viewership being the premiere of season 2 with 17 million.

I'm hoping its too early for this guilty pleasure to be locked up on level 5.
At least let them give it a proper ending... or bust out the NBC time machine and never make an season 2.

It's a shame. That show just started sucking after the first season. Season two was OK, but I couldn't make it through season 3. Yuck!

i really enjoyed 3. and 4 seems really cool. The problem is it peaked in season 1. The single greatest thing I've ever seen on TV was season 1 of heroes. I've watched it over 8 times. The way 1 ended was really poetic and awesome. but season 2 came along and #*&$%'D it all up

They need to put Peter back into "God mode". That was one of the best parts of the show. I still like it though. Only live action super hero show on TV.

Hmm, i hope it's gonna be good. I liked the first two episodes. Cool new characters, some old characters die. So who knows what will happen.

this season actually isn't that bad. Claire's story is the same and annoying, but i've always hated her stuff. I'm loving the Sylar/Matt interactions though :D
