Which CBM should you see in 3D?

I saw an article similar to this on another site so I decided to do my own take on it.

LOSE YOURSELF IN 3D WITH:

'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' (June 29)

I know ROTF was a travasty to humankind in many people's eyes but it did offer up some crowdpleasing special effects( that's why I guess it made a mint at the box office)and that if anything is what we can expect from a transformers film. If you are willing to accept director Michael Bay's claims that the third installment will be be more character and plot driven you might be able to stomach the story aspect of the film, but if you don't mind much for the characters or plot this should make for some spectacular viewing.
Judging from the full length theatrical trailer - this transformers film which was filmed in 3D should offer up some amazing scenes.And if you catched a recent interview between director Michael Bay and 'Avatar' mastermind James Cameron on the pros and cons of 3D, you should be convinced that Bay is taking the process seriously.

'Captain America: The First Avenger' (July 22)

Though it's a 3D conversion, director Joe Johnston had some pretty compelling arguments regarding why he chose to film in 2D and convert.

"I couldn't move the camera at a high rate of speed, I couldn't fit it through tight spaces, lens changes took 45 minutes ... If the two lenses weren't perfectly calibrated to the exact same focal plane, the shot was unwatchable. It's harder to fast-cut an action sequence because your eye needs time to re-establish the depth of each shot. The biggest drawback is that it would have added 30 days to the schedule. For all these reasons and more, I decided to shoot the picture 2D and convert it," the director explained. "We're shooting a whole separate pass on every setup to record the information necessary to convert to 3D in a seamless and undetectable way. When conversion is done right, you can't tell the difference between it and full 3D."

Besides who wouldn't want to see the shield whizzing through the air coming straight for you in 3D.

COULD GO EITHER WAY:

'Green Lantern' (June 17)

With much critism towards the use of CGI especially on the costume it's no wonder GL conjured up here(lame excuse for a pun intended)with the CGI costume looking underwhelming and a little bit cheesy, and because so much of the film will be set in the blackness of space, it's a concern that GL might run into the same problems that equally "dark"-looking 3D conversions, such as portions of Thor have. Fingers crossed that with 9 million towards the CGI and with the movie still in post-production everything would be worked out in time.


I would like to know your opinion but this is my first article and so please give constructive critism, it would be appreciated.
