James Hong is the latest cast addition to join Universal's adaption of Dark Horse Comic's R.I.P.D.

James Hong is the latest addition to upcoming supernatural action movie R.I.P.D (Rest In Peace Department). Hong, mostly known from 'Blade Runner' and "Big Trouble in Little China' will play Grandpa Chen, the avatar to Reynolds character and the appearance that others will see when Reynolds is on the job.



A recently slain cop joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department and tries to find the man who murdered him.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges and Kevin Bacon and is set for a June 28th 2013 release date.
