Given the recent resurgence in the popularity of Avatar: The Last Airbender, I wanted to take the opportunity to shine a spotlight on a few more of my favorite animated series. As a lover of animation and action-adventure animation in particular, I feel that there are so many great series that don't get the attention they deserve from adult viewers because of the way our culture views animation.
These are a few of the series that I believe are great for viewers of all ages and should appeal to fans of Avatar looking for another animated adventure to get engrossed in.
