Thanks spider11 but i still think i'm right in saying that this is really really overhyped for nothing. It does look like a mix of Fern Gully, Jurasic Park and Hellboy 2. So i'm not "impressed" that much. I will say it looks very good though and that i can't wait to eventually see it but... it's not blowing my "revolutionary" skirt up, ya know???

Oh and that guy is no freakin Cap!!!

@spider11: Good job! I was in the process of converting the video when I saw that you had posted yours, so I had to put you on the main! Keep it up!

@Shaman: Obviously, you're entitled to your opinion, but let me just tell you this: wait until you see it in 3-D like I did! It's amazing! Also, the "revolutionary" part of the film was in the production of it, less so in the film itself. Cameron's people came up with tech that allowed them to see the actors as their CGI characters while they were filming!

i have mixed opinions on this..visually it looks amazing but small fear inside that it might not turn into some overhyped movies in the past...just need to wait until it comes out..

@ Andrewtrotta and Torque: They really don't guys. The Draenai are like big satyrs with cloven hooves, horns, and tails.

These creatures aren't anything like that. Anyway I doubt this movie has anything anywhere near as babealiscious as my Dranai hunter! LOL

Well i watch Fern Gully quite frequently with my kids cause... cause i freakin love it, for an animated feature. Crysta was way hotter than Tinkerbel i can garantee you that! Although i wouldn't mind some Tink on Crysta action ;)

Brent- Thanks for finally explaining it to me dude!!! I've been waiting on "the explanation" since i first heard of it being "oh so revolutionary" but having to wait to see it to understand! Finally i know what the whole hype is about.

Well it still looks good so if i have the extra cash, i might go see it when it comes out.

dont see what all the hype is about. the marines and there equipment look like they've just come from the set of aliens, and this new world looks alot like felucia in star wars episode 3.

I got a buddy that works for James Cameron and he's been hyping this movie forever. About time it's coming out. I can't tell who the good guys or bad guys are from this trailer, but the effects are very cool. Hope I can tell what the plot of this thing is about when I see future trailers. Am I the only one who's totally confused about this flick?

cgi is great, but the super big eyes takes away the realism for me a little. makes them look more cartoony.

i think it will be good. maybe not great, but good. and worthington is one hell of a better actor than ackles, and thats just from watching one movie with the guy.

the guy in the wheelchair gets his brain imprinted into one of the creatures called avatars. probably to get friendly with the locals, gain there trust. so the marines can find materials or energy to take. but he begins to have feelings for a female and her species and realises what the marines are doing there and decides to help the local population fight back.
sounds a familiar story to me.

@ Almighty1080 - It looks horrible cause it's not in 3-D, a person with a Avatar of the Last Air Bender on his account would realize that. Unless your hyped for that movie?

JeremyBentham - When it comes out, the 3-D is what's going to make it epic.. It's best for people to watch it on Apple Trailers to get a sense of how astonishing and clear it is!...

Looks really awesome. The CGI is stunning, just in the trailer, imagine how it would look on IMAX.

Worthington =/= Captain America though.

everyone keeps saying how epic and good its going to look in imax 3d, what about when its released on dvd. its going to look very normal and not quite so epic. thus loosing alot of apeel for the movie.
