I liked Requiem too.
Can't wait for the new Predator movie.

Haven't seen a good Predator movie since part 2. Likewise with the Alien films. I want to be hyped for this movie but something just tells me that its not gonna be that good. Just a feeling though.

yeah, the second aliens movie was awesome! its an all time favorite of mine. 3 sucked. alien resurrection was good...until the very end ruined it with that Ripley clone-alien-queen-hybrid-with-down-syndrome thing showed up. that ruined the entire rest of the movie. :(

OK WAIT...PREDATORS USE THE MASK HELMETS BECAUSE MAYBE OUR AIR IS DIFFERENT...WHY WOULD THEY WEAR THEIR HELMETS ON THEIR PLANET? IS IT JUST A WARRIOR THING?MAYBE THEIR HELMETS DONT HAVE THE ELABORATE BREATHING MECHANISMS ..I DUNNO

Yeah man. The other Alien movies were terrible. It's a shame too because David Fincher directed the third movie, and if Fox had not screwed him over, we might have gotten a good third Alien movie. I just plain hated Resurrection. In my mind, the Alien films ended with part 2. Same with Predator, Terminator, etc.

Big Chico loves him self some “Predator” news, and today we found and interview with Howard Berger of effects shop KNB about the new “Predator reboot. He is quoted as saying:

“I just saw some photos today and they look absolutely fantastic!,” said Berger, who got his start working with Stan Winston on movies like Predator and Aliens.
”wanted to have the Predator look as it did in the original film. We went back and looked at the original. I actually worked in the shop with Stan Winston on the first film. It was great to be able to go back to the series having not been involved in any of the sequels, and it was also great to be able to make sure we built them as Stan Winston did.”

“They look really fantastic. There’s a whole bunch of cool [Predators] in the film, and every one’s going to be very happy that we’ve been very faithful to the Stan Winston designs… It’s shooting very soon.”
Robert Rodriguez-produced Predators will be directed by Nimrod Antal and is set for a July 7, 2010 opening. Here’s a short synopsis of the movie: A very intense group of people stranded on a Predator planet discovering unspeakable horrors – that are not always from outside their group.

This is really good news! The first “predator” was awesome and the look of the first predator took us all by surprise. The only apprehension I have is, if they are going to put people on the Predator home world there is going to have create a whole new mythos about the predators other then they hunt in the Hottest weather. Predator’s is a great franchise and I would love to see their civilization explained.

Girl Predators kinda go against the whole hunter gatherer social tribal thing... I'm not a fan =| they should be home gardening and raising babies. Its what tribes do, and I'm assuming that the predator mythos is heavily influensed by tribal cultures. I think that they would be more of a "Mans Man" kind of society. Not an equal aprotunity employer.

I can see maybe one female pred that defys the mythos and fight like one of the boys... but id rather see it in the comics.

Colton...its worth seeing. rent or snatch up a super cheap used one on amazon. thats what i do with movies peps say are no good like Punisher War one. Got it for $3.50 and i have to say ....I loved it so it was worth the price. AVP2 should have some cheap copies 4 sale. I hated most of the actors in AVP2, but I was rooting for the Pred.

the new AVP video game is crap. i'm so disappointed. the marine campaign is fun. the preds don't have enough weapons and die too easily, and the aliens are VERY disorienting, and the controls make it hard to use them. the campaign modes are WAY too short. no one plays online, and when you do play online it takes forever to find a game. also, multiplayer needs more than 2 maps...FOR ANY GAME. so disappointing. the old PC AVP games were WAY better. maybe i'll do a review of it when i get home, so i can tear it a new one.

Is that seriously how the Predator are going to look? This looks horrible so far. I guess they have to make the Predators look like pre-school versions in order to make a believable action hero out of Adrian Brody. I think the guy is a pretty good actor, but He and Topher "Eric" Grace as mercs...I'm just not buying it.
I'm convinced someone is getting paid to run this series in to the ground.

i did like the trophy kills, in my opinion, those are what saved this game from being frisbee'd out my car window already, lol. i was just really pissed to find out that i beat all three campaigns in 4 hours. thats just terrible. the marine campaign was really fun though, i'll give it that. and the graphics were beautiful. the trophy kills were VERY cool. but those things weren't enough to make up for the bad parts.

in this day and age, you don't charge 60 bucks for a 4 hour game, with crap multiplayer options. and 2 maps for multiplayer??? thats insane!!! it could be the best Multiplayer game ever made, and STILL no one would play it with only 2 maps.

its just a lot of the little things that made the PC AVP games awesome, are missing from this. why don't the Marines have night vision again?? instead we get a flashlight that is the equivalent of trying to read a newspaper in the dark with a laser pointer. they had night vision in the others, why not this?

This movie will be awesome. Can't wait.
