The costumes which will be worn by the titular heroes and Rita Repulsa in the upcoming Power Rangers reboot have been put on display, and they surprisingly look much better here than in the trailer...
One of the biggest controversies surrounding the Power Rangers reboot involves the costumes which will be worn by the heroes. In both the official images and trailer, they really don't look that great, but some practical versions (spotted by Instagram user Michael Angeloming) put on display are actually much better than what we've seen in the past. Is this a sign that the movie should have stuck to practical suits rather than enhancing them with special effects? Based on these images, possibly!
Power Rangers stars Dacre Montgomery (A Few Less Men) as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott (The 33) as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G (Empire) as Trini the Yellow Ranger, and Ludi Lin (Monster Hunt) as Zack the Black Ranger. Rounding out the cast are Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa and Bryan Branston as Zordon. The movie is currently set to be released on March 24th, next year. Check out the photos and video below.
