The POWER RANGERS Reboot Is Bringing Back The Flip Head Action Figures

Depending on how old you are, you probably remember the classic Power Rangers flip head action figures. Well, the upcoming reboot is bringing them back, and that's good news for toy collectors...

Back in the 90s, a line of Power Rangers action figures was released which allowed kids to flip the heads of the character to help them "transform" from the civilian identities to their heroic uniforms in the blink of an eye. A hit with fans, they looked a little out of proportion, but that's not the kind of thing most youngsters care about! Well, prepare to relive your childhood with a new line of them!

These are obviously based on Lionsgate's upcoming reboot and will retail for $14.99 each. Only the Red and Black Rangers (played by Dacre Montgomery and Ludi Lin) have been revealed so far, but chances are we'll get the whole team in this form by the time the movie is released. So, regardless of how you feel about the Power Rangers reboot, at least it will allow you to relive your childhood to some extent.

Well, unless the movie then ruins your childhood! For that, we're just going to have to wait and see.

@genesis609 - Or they could have gone the Black Panther approach. I know for a fact he isn't wearing spandex in Civil War, and whatever material he is wearing, would have looked excellent on the Rangers as well.

Can we honestly see some more shit from this movie? Enough of the subtleties; J.J. Abrams ain't making this shit so lets see some action and story in some marketing/trailers.

At this point, I feel as though this movie will end up like Max Steel.

They should've gotten someone like Brad Bird or Edgar Wright to do a Power Rangers film. Instill some MUCH NEEDED CHEESY, yet funny, subtly into a property that well---needs it.

@ComicsBornAndBred - yup, funny how people get upset at the suggestion of cheesiness... This show was more camp than Adam West's Batman.
