@Kyos -

WORKING THEORIES:

She's Lal, Data's daughter that he created who "died" and she's reactivated with Borg tech but inadvertently woke up the Borg collective.

She's Picard's daughter created from his DNA by the Borg during his Locutus phase and they want her to act as a new hybrid queen.

Although this woman and Lal do have a similar appearance she seems to have red blood so maybe it's not her but it could be some sort of combination of those two theories, as I think Data will be a significant part of this plot. Or not. I don't know, it looks great though!

So for us that don’t kno like me who’s the girl? Is she like half borg or something?

@Batman5 - Do you mean Seven of Nine? The blonde? She's a former borg who was a main character on Voyager. If you mean the young girl who seems to be special for some reason, I think she's a new character.

I'm really torn on this one. I thought the best bet was to lean into the vague legacy of Picard and go really philosophical and smart, and while they may largely do this, this also seems to have its share of the action-runny-jumpy-shooty that completely ruined the Next Generation movies. And it looks like they may be digging into the continuity a fair bit more than I think is wise.

I love seeing Jeri Ryan again (the only person that made Voyager bearable), and the idea of her and Picard being borg buddies is awesome. But I also feel like the those three ~90's series are a can of worms if you open them too widely.

This looks PHENOMENAL. My wife refuses to believe it's a trailer for a TV series. She was in shock when I told her this wasn't a theatrical release.

As a lifelong Star Wars freak it's sad to admit I felt more emotional after watching this than I have for the entirety of the Disney SW era.

Am I reading too much into it when they show the Captain Picard Day banner and they tell him to “be the captain they remember”? Are some of his new “crew” going to be kids who grew up with their parents assigned to the Enterprise-D?
