Awesome. If there's a lot more of these in the set, I'll definitely buy it especially if they remaster the picture/sound! (if not then I'll wait until they come down in price after they're released) God, I love blu-ray...how anyone can still buy DVD's is beyond me! :P

Wow...Its amazing that Lucas has released the same movies at least a dozen times and people still dump their hard earned disposable income in his pockets. Talk about genius................Dude I love Star Wars as much as the next guy, but WTF? WHO CARES!!!!! Lucas is laughing all the way to the bank.......Again!

I wonder why they took it out of the movie.Why does G. lucas play so many games? What he should do is start generating intrest in another star wars movie by doing a mini series on H.b.o. something like the sopranos or the wire and get the younger adults into star wars maybe a story like force unleashed! YOUR GETTING OLD G.LUCAS JUST LET SOMEONE ELSE WRITE THE SCRIPT

their is a scene when darth vader takes his helmet of and you see david prouse ..it is when they are about to blow up a planet in a new hope .. but they changed it so you could not see vaders face .... but i have pics in a old magazine

@Protonite, not just an extra 1 minute of footage, but an entire collection of deleted scenes from all 6 movies. We get the Anchorhead scenes, the ROTJ Sandstorm scene, this scene, The Wampa attacks scene in TESB. Padme builds the rest of C-3PO in AOTC. There are alot of deleted scenes in this collection, and many, many more in HD. Thank you George, Thank you.

Kind of interesting how Luke's profile with the hood on is pretty close to the Emperor.Almost a ...FAMILY resemblance:-) Lucas always said that the saga was about fathers and sons,and I think the whole midi-chlorian explanation was an 11th hour decision to distract from that question. The Emperor as Luke's grandfather? Search your feelings,you know this to be true....LOL
