Young 8-year-old Layla Murphy, daughter to Nicolette Molina, has been dealing with bullying at her new school. Apparently, some at her venue aren't fans of "Star Wars" and particurly it's her young female school-mates that believes that as such.
The girls were making fun of her liking the sci-fi franchised film and even questioned her sexuality by saying things to her like, "Are you turning into a boy?", according to her mother. This resulted in not wearing her R2D2 apparel as well as her "Guardians of the Galaxy" shirt to school.
The 501st Legion offered their support when they found out this news and supported the young girl by not only making her a custom-fit costume of a Stormtrooper, but also having her meet Weird Al Yankovic while he was performing along with the 501st.
