We've seen all this before.

@JatevinM I thought that at first. But chimpanzees are 5 times stronger than humans (even a 5 year old chimp is stronger than an adult human).
Not only that, if monkeys rampaged down the street now, I wager about 90% of people would run as fast as they can (I know I would) & the remaining people would easily be slaughtered. That process would repeat itself over weeks & months & wittle the human race down bit by bit.
Plus chimps move very fast so shooting them will (for the most part) do no good because it's hard to get a head shot. A body shot wouldn't kill them right away & they'll still rip you to shreds.

This is all without even mentioning Gorillas & Baboons, or the fact that these monkeys have higher intelligence.
In actual fact I think this sort of attack would prove more fatal than a zombie attack. :)

This little monkey could be the [frick]in' damn dirty ape responsible for the fall of the human race. In this world gone mad, we won't spank the monkey- the monkey will spank us. And after the fall of man, these monkey [frick]s'll start wearing our clothes and rebuilding the world in their image. OH and only those as super smart as me will be left alive to bitterly cry - DAMN YOUS. Goddamn yous all to hell.
