Family Guy Spoofs Christian Bale Rant

Family Guy Spoofs Christian Bale Rant

I'm starting to feel sorry for Christian. But he should feel good that he's brought so much laughter to the world through an otherwise embarassing tirade.

Also saw it Sunday, this is the BEST spoof Family Guy has done EVER. I was cryin and laughin' so hard for so long there wasn't even sound comin' out anymore. I seriously had to leave the room to catch my breath because it was so funny. Excellent post guys. Great stuff.

Was this not the funniest thing ever. I could not stop laughing the entire time.

That had to be the funniest Family Guy for a long time, if not EVER!

This was so funny. I was laughing the whole time but tried to stay quiet so I could hear it. So great.

I only just caught this on here and I suppose I didn't find it that funny because I'm not a huge family guy fan. The fact that most of you say it was the funniest in a while makes it that much weaker. Besides, Christian Bales outburst, although over the top and absurd, really doesn't warrant that much of my attention. He flipped out. People do it. Just make a good movie. I don't care which family member you beat up or how you treat the guys behind the scenes. If we didn't want actors acting like this, we'd lower the damn pedestal they've been put on.

hahaha awww messing with Christian Bale's tirade haha

But honestly, I didn't or don't really care about his tirade. Doesn't make me go "Aww dude, Bale's an asshole!" or some shit like that. I still see him as awesome for being Batman lol

And yes I agree with you CyborgNinja, 100% (even on the whole Family Guy deal...I prefer The Simpsons over Family Guy)

Personally I think the vulgar idiocy of stuff like south park or even family guy is, well, not good for youths today? I don't know. Just feels it has a negative impact. But...thats irrelevant to this anyway...
MarkCassidy
MarkCassidy - 2/17/2009, 12:34 PM
Well if you think all South Park is is vulgar idiocy then you havnt been watching enough, or just dont get it..what would you say if i told you South Park was probably the best satire on popular culture and the times we live in iv ever seen?

Family guy..well, that can be alot of vulgar idiocy, but its damn funny!
loganoneil
loganoneil - 2/17/2009, 12:36 PM
Cyborg - I think you're missing the point. Cartoons like 'Family Guy' and 'South Park' are NOT for kids! These are examples of more adult-oriented humor at its best (or worst, depending on your perspective). It's the responsibility of the PARENTS to screen what their children are watching, rather than use the TV as their own personal babbysitter! Personally, I wouldn't let anyone under the age of 14 to 16 watch either. If kids want to watch stuff that's 'fun for the whole family', there's always 'The Simpsons'...
Pierce_Highmen
Pierce_Highmen - 2/17/2009, 12:38 PM
@ Cyborg. That is way they show Family Guy and South Park at 9 and 10 PM. They are viewed as adult time slots. The kids should be in bed by that time. And if they are not, seeing how both shows are on school nights, you are a bad parent. Also, with the cable boxes, you can block anything you dont want your kid to see, so there is no excuse. If you dont want your kid seeing something, then block it.

These shows are not made for kids. The Simpsons were made for parents and children to enjoy together. Why do you think we have Family Guy, South Park, American Dad and Adult Swim. The people in charge figured out that the audlts like cartoons also. So lets make some for them.

So Cyborg, a question. Do you never curse? Do you never joke aboue sex? Are you a perfect angel?

If so, then you are not the taget audience for those shows anyway, and Im sure they are not hurt by you not watching.

Pierce - I agree, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. OBVIOUSLY this brand of humor doesn't appeal to him. It's not a slam, so don't take it personally. Ours is not to judge, and this IS an open forum...

Pierce_Highmen
Pierce_Highmen - 2/17/2009, 12:47 PM
Logan - I didnt mean it that way. I was speaking in general. Sure I could have worded it beter, now that I read it again. But my point was meant for the world, and the people that have all these tools to keep shows from their kids. But chose to ignore them, when saying that a show will harm children.

Too true, but unfortunately a good chunk of parents fall into that category of not utilizing the tools that are available and properly supervising their children (for far too many reasons than could ever be listed here...).

Rorschach I have to agree with you man, South Park is by far the best...Trey Parker & Matt Stone are on another level, they are comedic geniuses.

Supermike
Supermike - 2/17/2009, 1:41 PM
South park is so horrible that the people who voice the 4 kids have quit that how stuipd the show is and anyone who defend are usually the dumbass who think its funny.

South park should be taken off the air ASP it does not belong on TV and also don't fool yourself if you think South park was not made for kids why do you think it come on at 9 and 10 Oclock because that when kids are either getting out of a school sport or just get done doing homework
BillyBlack
BillyBlack - 2/17/2009, 1:50 PM
Supermike

uhhh. Trey Parker and Matt Stone voice most of the "4 kids" on South Park. If you're new, they are the creators and writers of the show. So you're way off with the whole "quitting" angle. And where do kids get out of school sports at 9-10 o'clock at night? If you're gonna try and shit on something, at least know what you're talking about.

I've never been a huge fan of the Simpsons, but without it there would be no Family Guy or South Park, so kudos to Matt Groening. Speaking of Matt Groening, I always liked Futurama better than the Simpsons because it seemed like a smarter comedy and Bender was great. I watch Family Guy when I want a bunch of dumb laughs. South Park is the best because It's a brilliant show. Some of the new episodes are amazingly smart and people who don't think so need to watch some recent episodes.

Racist? I may be fairly new to posting on this site. But I've been reading it for quite some time. I've never seen a racist comment from rorschach01. Sounds to me like they've all got your number, Supermike. Thanks for the heads up guys.

South Park is more political. It deals with current events that takes place aound America and some parts of the world. Then they make a story that is similar and turn it funny with a moral. Family Guy just makes you laugh, more of a pop show that makes fun of celebrities, and anyone that is known for something. The Simpsons have their own stories that make you laugh. They don't really make fun of people, but the have more celebrities on their show than any animated series.

loganoneil - 2/17/2009, 3:05 PM
Billy - if you don't want to get involved in the bruhaha between supermike and... well, the rest of us, just ignore him - he's just loves to get people's dander up by making inflamatory (and quite often, 'stupid') comments. You also might want to stay clear of a chap called 'krzymua'. He's on the site specifically to cause trouble ONLY (self-admitted). There are some of us who are convinced these two are one-in-the-same, but since we can't prove it...

Thanks Logan

I was just on the page where there was a petition to kick him off the site. Man, some people just go over the top. I really don't get too excited about what some faceless chucklehead types in cyberspace. Their ability to express themselves will reflect their true IQ. The only thing I won't tolerate is someone WALKING THRU MY FV*KIN EYELINE DURING A SCENE!!!

Racist eh? Well supertard, iv been called some things in my time but thats a first..couldnt be further from it my simple friend..and youve just dropped a notch on the intelligence scale...your approaching primordial!

As far as Simpsons and Futurama, i used to love em both..i mean i still do but there has deffo been a decline in quality..even the futurama movies didnt raise as many laughs as i thought..still great though!

All these shows are funny, and I dig a funny toon. But I am seriously missing a good, Bruce Timm, super-hero cartoon. Ever since JLU went off the air I've been looking for something to fill the void. While I love the direct to video releases of late, I'm not to keen on waiting 18 months for each project to hit the streets. Anyone got any good news for me?

Funny. I almost died laughing. Oh and to al those people who hate Family Guy, Everyone who finds it offensive, crude, vulgar, inapropriate, and wishes it wa off the air let me say this,.... Come ooooonnnnn, Come on. All of you need to take a good look in the mirror, don't you cuss make dirty jokes, do obscene things, well you can because this is America and our forefathers gave their lives to ensure that you had the freedom to express yourself, as long as it doesn't infringe on anyone elses rights. America's freedoms stands abeacon of hope for the downtrodden, and oppressed of the world. America is a haven for those seeking a safe and free haven. America is a place were you can start over or come from another country and begin again, like rorschach01(not sure if he was serious), or my girls family. Family Guy as crude and inappropriate as it may be symbolizes one of the most important freedoms we have, the Freedom Of Speech, and I feel Family Guy uses it quite well. I enjoy Family Guy because to me its not just funny, it is American, and I'm proud to be an American. HAWK out.
