With Spider-Man: Far From Home now less than a month away from release, Sony has begun to step up the marketing for the sequel with a batch of new promo stills spotlighting most of the movie's main characters.

In addition, we have a Spanish version of the most recent poster, which adds MJ (Zendaya), Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) and Molten Man to the previously seen shots of Peter Parker (Tom Holland), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal).

It was recently announced that Far From Home would be screening a week early in China, so expect initial reactions - not to mention some spoilers - to find their way online fairly soon.

In the meantime, check out the new stills along with some previously released character posters by clicking the "view list" button below.

Peter And MJ

Peter Parker and "MJ" are expected to become a lot closer in Far From Home, but their budding relationship may be complicated by the fact that the latter is aware of Peter's secret identity. Or at least, that's what the trailers suggest.

Nick Fury And Happy Hogan

Fury does not seem very happy to see Happy here.

Tony Stark's former bodyguard was assigned to keep an eye on Peter, so perhaps Nick has some problems with the job he's been doing. There are also a lot of theories going around that the one-time S.H.I.E.L.D. Director is not who he appears to be, which might explain the outburst.

Betty, Ned And MJ

Some of Peter's school friends are shown here looking more than a little perturbed.

We know from the trailers that Betty, Ned and MJ are witnessing the destruction unleashed by The Elementals.

Mysterio

Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, will start out as an ally of Spider-Man's, but any comic book fan worth their salt will suspect that his true colors will be revealed by the end of the movie.

Spanish Poster

This international version of the most recent one-sheet is very similar to the original, but it adds MJ, Happy and this movie's take on Molten Man to the mix.

@L0RDbuckethead - yea i have to admit that transition from the comics is pretty outstanding costume wise.

@L0RDbuckethead - I would love to see one damn official poster with both Spiderman and Mysterio's masks on. I miss the old days when we used to get posters with the actual superhero costume and mask on.

@SonOfAGif - Same. But at the same time, you have to remember the posters are there to sell the movie, and a big part of that is having your top billed actors on there -- face and all.

But yeah, I totally agree, we need better posters and less lazy photoshop jobs.

Why do some posters look kinda ugly these days? I mean that's a mess.

Still reeling from that Norman Osborn rumor. Multiple people from 'a screening' or a leak are talking about the mid-credits scene and Osborn. If this turns out to be bogus I'm gonna lose it. I NEED Osborn, it'll really help put Peter firmly in his established world that we all know and love.

@SpideyPuffsMJ - I'd honestly rather have Doc Ock before another Goblin.

@soberchimera - I would love Ock to come in before leading the 6, but given their focus on integrating this Spidey with the MCU so much, it seems like more of a fit to push Norman right now, not even necessarily as Goblin, but as a recurring antagonist in the absence of an Avengers lineup. Especially if they're planning on a Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts film. I do still wanna see his crazy side come out in goblin form, whether that would work better sooner or later I'm not sure.

We need the real Mary Jane. Mary Jane wasn't in High School and came in his mid-20's

I mean it's kind of mind boggling to me. You get Spider-Man to Marvel Studios and everyone involved keeps mentioning great things like John Hughes, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, Ultimate Spider-Man and it feels like it's gonna be the greatest thing ever, and then all we have is an okay film with a young kid who really wants to be Iron-Man and his weird friends. I always liked young Spider-Man so much, but something about this just throws me off. I guess if the focus was more like "The responsabilities are too big for me, and both my super hero life and day-to-day life are crumbling because of it" than "Wow this is awesome, that guy is awesome, i'm awesome, did you guys watched that 80's movie?" i'd be more excited. Idk. Maybe my expectations should be lower?

@BlackBeltJones - Rushed deadlines mandated by Sony? An inexperienced graphics design team chosen to save costs?

Marvel has the best design and costume department. Mysterio's armor is gorgeous. It looks technical and magical.

Sony Exec: hmm... maybe they'll look better if you photoshop more people and locations in and add a few triangles
