With the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming getting closer, more great content from the highly anticipated reboot set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to find its way online. The latest are some behind the scenes photos showing Jon Watts taking charge of the action in a variety of scenarios, including Tom Holland's Peter Parker in the homemade suit and Adrian Toomes' pre-Vulture days.

There's also an official image showing Peter and Ned Leeds together as the former works on something which looks a little like a web-shooter. He
did, after all, have them before Iron Man came along!

Starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, Robert Downey Jr., and almost countless others, Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and will be released on July 7th, this year.

Is it just me or did they deliberatly made the live action suit LOOK like CG to smooth the difference;

@ODanil - I was thinking the same thing.

@ODanil - This is the only thing that bothers me about the new Spider-man. The design is fine, it's just the uncanny valley of colors. My brain keeps asking me.

Nice.

Sidenote: Yesterday, James Gunn had a Q&A on Facebook and I asked him if Marvel can make an R rated film if they wanted, or if it was a no-no because of Disney. The way I understood it was they CAN if they want. That they're not gonna do an R rated film just because others are doing. The character has to warrant an R rating.

@THATguy01 - Very Cool. Never thought Disney would shoot down an R rated movie since the Disney logo does not display in front of Marvel movies.

So how many suits is he gonna have?

Prototype, Stark suit and maybe a less techie suit?

@Nightmare -

Presumably;

Prototype - Seen briefly in Civil War and likely to be shown briefly at the start given the intro descriptions

Stark suit - used to keep an eye on Peter, has an A.I, tracking, webwings and other such aspects

Prototype upgraded - A slightly upgraded version of the original prototype seen in the BTS images here

Updated Stark suit - gained at the end of the movie after proving himselfan Avenger, seen when he's swinging with Iron Man. Likely no longer has the A.I.

@jerryblake - He should die from a poisonous spider bite.

@MosquitoFarmer - yeah. wouldn't it be easier to get rid off him in some normal way just to avoid "with great power ..." theme this time around. spidey can learn that through different circumstances. i guess the problem would be hardcore fans.

@jerryblake - Why should anyone care about hardcore fans.

@jerryblake - His death is fairly well known by now, but tampering with it would one way or another upset a lot of people. Look how Pa Kent's passing by tornado fared with most. Either way, I'm only especially curious about Ben's passing if it's an emotional scene with Aunt May recounting how much she misses him (for example).

@MosquitoFarmer - I'm kidding, but it could be the spider that bit Peter and got away, so Peter would feel guilty for not killing/stopping the spider and thus adopt the attitude "if something bad happens to someone and you could have done something about it, but didn't, it's your fault (or whatever he said in Civil War). Point is, we got to keep that "Peter feels guilty for Ben's death" attitude.

@MosquitoFarmer - i wanna see the Leviathan from Avengers fall on him, that's how he should die.

@leethario - He probably had a lead on what happened to Peter's parents, and so he went to Sokovia to check it out...

@MosquitoFarmer - we just need a montage of things falling caused by the avengers falling on him. Maybe his leads took him to Seoul or South Africa
