Spider-Man: Homecoming composer Michael Giacchino has taken to Twitter to reveal a behind-the-scenes look from a recording session for the film's score. Do you think the drummers are actually recording a snippet from Spidey's theme song or are they just warming up? Take a listen and let us know what you think.

From new international promo images, we know Tom Holland's Peter Parker actually attempts to write his own theme song as a playful riff on the intro to the classic 1960's cartoon. It will be interesting to see if it's actually sung out loud in the film.

For me Elfman's Spider-Man theme (and the rest of the score too) is right behind only Williams' work on Superman. Homecoming's gonna have some big shoes to fill in that department (one that Marvel sadly lacks in, outside of maybe DD season 1 - I really like the music from that show).

@MrBullseye -
Agreed.
Can't top Elfman, sorry-not-sorry.

@MrBullseye - Yeah you're right, although I do like Alan Silvestri's score for the first Avengers movie. I'm glad that he's coming back for Avengers 3 and 4.

@Lilvic92 - yeah and ironically Elfman had to fill in for age of Ultron and it wasn't as good as A1. He's best when does his own thing.

Drummers, the musicians' best friends.

@Jaspion - Some speculate that a drummer actually is a musician.

I LOVE the Spidey theme made by Elfman, and the Venom variation is sooooo good:

DOPE!

I like Spiderman, and this movie looks awesome, but I'm more excited to see Marisa Tomei in it to be honest.

Glad they got Giacchino on this.

Side-note: anyone else think its a little strange Deadpool (Reynolds) will be 4 inches taller than Cable (Brolin)?
ELAYEM
ELAYEM - 4/12/2017, 2:20 PM
I know you can do stuff with angles to make people look taller but still, it's a big difference and the opposite of who is supposed to tower over who.

ELAYEM
ELAYEM - 4/12/2017, 2:26 PM
@MrBullseye - That's true. Hopefully they work their movie magic and dont just have Cable as much smaller than Deadpool.
Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 4/12/2017, 2:42 PM
@Elayem - Yeah... It does sort of suck. I'm sure they'll mitigate the difference, but they won't go to any great lengths to make Brolin look like he's 6'7" or something.

Tim Miller spoiled us, but I don't think we'll get another "super big X-Men guy" anytime soon.
ELAYEM
ELAYEM - 4/12/2017, 2:47 PM
@Spock0Clock - It's a shame (in my opinion at least) they didn't get Michael Shannon. Shannon and Brolin are very similar in talent and mannerism, but Shannon is 5 inches taller.
PapaLazarou
PapaLazarou - 4/12/2017, 3:00 PM
@Elayem - josh also has short, stubby arms and legs that make him look kinda funny. Once I noticed it I couldn't unsee it and I think it's hilarious now
