Peter Parker swinging around in a suit created for him by Iron Man obviously means it will be a lot more technically advanced than previous versions, but some new information has surfaced which could be extremely divisive. While on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming last year, IGN learned that the costume actually has a J.A.R.V.I.S. style AI which interacts with the hero during his adventures.
Apparently, this voice "inside" the hero's head will come as a surprise to him, though the relationship between the two will seemingly be played for comedy purposes as, "he’s not used to working with an artificial intelligence the way Tony Stark is, so when Peter asks for directions on how to get somewhere, for example, the AI responds by wanting to know if he’ll be driving, or walking."
There's currently no word on who will provide the voice, but with so many actors cast last year, it could be literally anyone! This is far from the suit's only surprise, though, as the site goes on to reveal that it will have a "training wheels" protocol built in which keeps Peter from accessing every feature, something he'll spend most of the movie attempting to crack. However, among those he does get are a parachute, a heater, an airbag, the ability to light up, and a tracking device for Iron Man to find him.
The site adds that his webshooters will feature a variety of modes too, including "adjusting the spread and type like the swinging web, web ball, ricochet web, a web that functions like a Taser, one that shoots multiple webs at the same time, and so on." Sounds pretty spectacular, don't you think?
