Andrew Garfield's AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Finally Gets A Spectacular New Hot Toys Action Figure

Hot Toys has revealed a new action figure based on Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and this promises to be a must-have for those of you who enjoyed Spider-Man: No Way Home...

Andrew Garfield played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and while the latter was panned by critics, many fans were still disappointed to see the actor's tenure as the web-slinger end so soon. Plans for a third and fourth movie (and Sinister Six) were scrapped, and Tom Holland was cast as the hero in Captain America: Civil War

Garfield was given the chance to redeem himself in last December's Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the response to his return has been overwhelmingly positive.

Campaigns for Sony Pictures to make The Amazing Spider-Man 3 have been prevalent, and while there's no sign of that threequel becoming a reality, the hope is Garfield will play Spidey again somewhere down the line. In the meantime, Hot Toys has finally revealed a new, highly-detailed action figure based on his likeness.

While it's themed on The Amazing Spider-Man 2, this is obviously the same costume this Peter Variant donned during his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut.

The figure features a Peter Parker head sculpt with incredible likeness, a masked head sculpt, a recreation of Spider-Man's red and blue suit with black web impressions, a highly-poseable body for his extreme acrobatic ability, and accessories including a Spider-Man mask, and assorted spider-web shooting effect parts.

Hot Toys has already revealed a figure based on Tom Holland's "Integrated" Spider-Man suit from No Way Home, and we're hopeful that the Tobey Maguire Variant will be next.

@KWilly @Origame - it's definitely the suit I think of when I think of live-action Spider-Man.

That TASM2 opening is also so [frick]ing good. I love the wrinkles on the suit just flapping in the wind.

Still the greatest live-action Spider-Man imo (the raised webs on the action figure do make the suit look a little too like the Raimi-verse tho tbh).

Just a re-issue of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

I'm still waiting for the Classic Tom Holland suit. Best suit on screen
