SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME - Tobey Maguire's Friendly Neighborhood Hero Finally Gets A Hot Toys Action Figure

Hot Toys has finally revealed its action figure based on the likeness of Tobey Maguire's web-spinner in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and it comes bundled with a spectacular base featuring the sinister Sandman.

Spider-Man: No Way Home swung into theaters last December, and the feeling of watching the three live-action Spider-Man team up on screen is one we'll never forget.

For those of you who grew up with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies, seeing Tobey Maguire back in costume was a truly spectacular experience. Now, it's one that's been immortalised thanks to an upcoming Hot Toys action figure depicting the wall-crawler's likeness in this movie.

The Deluxe version of this 1/6th scale Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man collectable figure comes with a diorama figure base depicting Sandman. The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, and Electro are all getting their own figures, but if you want to assemble the entire "Sinister Five," you'll need to get Sandman and Lizard as bases for this figure and The Amazing Spider-Man's.

As for this collectable, it features a newly developed head sculpt, a masked head sculpt, a highly-poseable body with a great range of articulation, and an astonishing recreation of Spider-Man's red and blue suit with raised silver webbing patterns.

Accessories include Sandman's cure, a Spider-Man mask, and assorted web-shooting effect parts. The Deluxe version is the only place you'll find that Sandman base, though the Special Edition will include one of Doc Ock's tentacles as a bonus.

Spider-Man: No Way Home - The More Fun Stuff Version is set to swing into theaters this August/September, with the 15 minutes of deleted scenes that were missing from the Blu-ray (and possibly more). We obviously anticipate seeing more of the Spider-Man Variants, so fans of Maguire's wall-crawler should walk away from that extended cut happy.

As for these Hot Toys action figures, we're still hoping Spidey's new red and blue suit receives the spotlight at some point. However, its limited role in the threequel could make that unlikely.

The teenager in me that watched Spider-Man 1 on repeat daily is screaming out to get this! Tobey's Spider-Man has never looked better than in this figure.

As much as i ike Tom Holland's Spider-Man, No Way Home just got me wanting to see a proper conclusion to Tobey's story.

Make Spider-Girl happen! Cast a teenage Mayday and have Tobey be the father figure in a supporting role! It's so much better of a plan than Sony's dumb spin offs that won't need to lean on Marvel Studios involvement.

OT: Sad news Bernard Cribbins, best known for playing Wiltfred Mott on Doctor Who (and being my favourite DW companion) has passed away at the age of 93 R.I.P.

Will be cool to see him back in the 60th anniversary

@dracula - Yeah he was! Shame the Peter Cushing stuff isn't considered canon it would've been fun to see how they could've incorporated that into the main show.

Me when I see Bernard one last time in the 60th:

At first glance the article pic on the main page looked like Daniel Craig wearing a spidey constume… it’s early and my eyes are bad, but it was amusing to me. But now I wonder what an old spidey played by Craig would be like.?

I still whistle the theme song from the Raimi trilogy when I see Tobey suited up. It is a testament to how iconic those movies and their theme song were.
