SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Stills Offer An Official Look At Andrew Garfield's First Scene In The MCU

Spider-Man: No Way Home was shrouded in secrecy prior to its release, and despite a handful of leaks, no one was sure what to expect before watching the Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios blockbuster.

There were ultimately plenty of surprises, with the most spectacular moments arguably featuring Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's returns as their respective Peter Parker Variants. They both drew cheers in packed theaters upon walking through those portals, and an official look at the Amazing Spider-Man's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut has now been revealed.

The image comes along with a brief featurette that shows more of Tom Holland's conversation with Maguire and Garfield about what it means to suit up as Spider-Man together on screen.

With the home entertainment release of Spider-Man: No Way Home on the horizon, it appears we can expect Sony to continue highlighting some of the movie's biggest surprises and moments in an effort to remind fans of the spectacular scenes they'll be able to relive. We're still hoping for a final, much better poster featuring the three Spider-Men, but the banner below will do for now!

Spider-Man: No Way Home releases on Digital on March 22 and physical platforms on April 12.

Hate to admit, his arc was definitely the most charming part of the movie. Andrew has an energy as Peter that I can't quite equate to words 😂😂

@MyCoolYoung - TBH that happened years ago. I was a pretty hardcore bluray collector until last year but pretty much all special features have disappeared from most movies since around 2015. Marvel only ever has a blooper real, like one or two featurettes, and a commentary if you’re lucky at this point

@Ha1frican - it sucks. I got maybe 100 Blurays and it's a huge difference between years ago and now. I guess these studios decided it wasn't worth it

@dragon316 - only extras I've liked from marvel was the one shots and the directors round table on infinity war

@MyCoolYoung - I had about that many like 100 to 120 and finally went digital when I was faced with rebuying everything in 4K again

Garfield should have been nominated and won the Oscar for his performance in Silence.

If I remember correctly he was a bit broader shouldered when I saw him in the movie. Looks like they slimmed him down

April 12th can't come soon enough. I'll be kicking back in my leather recliner in my movie room with Atmos surround sound and old timey popcorn maker, while I crank up the volume just enough to drown out the sounds of my wife and kids pounding on the door to that room yelling about something about "blah blah blah the water heater went out" and "blah blah blah there's no power downstairs" and "blah blah blah the garage is on fire". Pshh. Away with you, I say! I finally have NWH and nothing NOTHING will deter me from finally watching this damn movie!! (Except, you know, bathroom breaks. And I'll have to grab a beer every now and then. And maybe some jalapeño poppers. Yeah, jalapeño poppers! And do we have any sliders? Yeah sliders would be great too! Okay, bathroom, beer, poppers, and sliders, then I'm set.)

@StSteven - reading your comment, I couldn’t help but notice that you seem to have some SERIOUS problems.
You really need to soundproof that movie room of yours. And don’t forget the fried cheese curds.
StSteven
StSteven - 3/8/2022, 2:29 PM
@Stinkor1 - Do you think I have time to do it (soundproof the room that is)? I mean, before NWH comes out on disk? I suppose that I could take a week or so off from work and try to knock it all out. Probably have to pull all the drywall down to add the soundproofing insulation, which means repainting... but I could do it, right? ;)

Seriously, the movie room came with the house (one of the selling points for me - my wife couldn't care less). I did actually install the Atmos ceiling speakers a couple of years ago. Got a good deal from Best Buy, but having to crawl across the crawl space (probably why they call it that) above the room over the course of a week or so practically killed me. I had bruises all up and down my chest. And the idiots who built the house didn't leave enough room in the walls to run additional speaker wire so that was a huge issue (let's just say it involved a lot of sweat and Vaseline - wait, that didn't sound right. Strike that from the record).

Anyhow, I'm really happy with the result (the sound) but ironically I don't get to use the room very often as my little kids get bored quickly and start running around causing trouble so we usually just watch movies in our bedroom. Hence my above statement. I'm usually pretty successful in getting to watch at least the new Marvel movies in there, but as I said above, based on what everyone here has said about NWH I'm watching it in that room no matter what. Like a 10 year old kid. In my Spider-Man onesy.

And I don't think I've ever seen a fried cheese curd but nothing about that sounds good. Now buffalo wings on the other hand... ;)

@m1doriya - I wonder if they have improved it since. Anyone seen the film recently? I watched this opening night and this scene was particularly noticeable.

Spider-Man 4, Peter goes off to college and meets Firestar and Iceman for the first time, and they help him bring down the villain.

@Timerider84 - think they should've just made MJ into Firestar. Retconning her into Michelle Jones-Watson is just awkward, whereas Angelica Michelle Jones could've worked.

As for Bobby, I do hope Peter gets to go to college with him. Same with Johhny Storm, even though I don't necessarily need to see them team up
