SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME TV Spot SPOILS The Film's Amazing Final Scene

Yes, Sony Pictures really did just spoil Spider-Man: No Way Home's spectacular final scene, so if you've been dying to watch it all over again, then you're going to want to check out this brief TV spot!

Trailers for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 literally showed the final scene from the film, leading to a lot of disappointment among fans when they realized that was as much as they'd ever see of the hero's battle with Rhino. Now, not even 24 hours after Spider-Man: No Way Home opened in North America, TV spots are being released by Sony with a MAJOR SPOILER in them.

Seriously, if you haven't seen the film yet but are still using the internet, you need to leave immediately!

For the rest of you, this critics promo concludes with that spectacular shot of Peter Parker in his new, comic accurate costume swinging through a snowy New York City. While we appreciate a closer look at this outfit in HD, it's a little disappointing that some will see this for the first time on TV at home.

We're hoping some official shots are eventually revealed, whether in the form of an official still or concept art. It appears to be a perfect blend of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man costumes without a single bit of Stark Industries technology in sight (at last!). A big question, however, is whether those eyes will still have any sort of movement to them...

It's inevitable

TV Spots have always been the worst at spoiling shit to me.

To the average eye, that moment doesn't come off as a spoiler. In these parts, people go into mayhem.

@MosquitoFarmer - exactly. It's so hard to see and it can easily be confused with the civil war suit.

Why would dr strange tamper with reality just because everyone knows peters identity? Not consistent with his character

@Inktown03 - you guys keep saying that, but when has he ever showed that kind of restraint?

@Inktown03 - Yeah, not to mention I don't think the Ancient One woulda been cool with that...seems like an abuse of his powers if you ask me

@Inktown03 - I enjoyed the movie, but it doesn't make Strange look good at all. Everything could've been prevented with, like, a 2-3 minute pre-spell discussion. Wish they'd found a different way to get there.

@Origame - it just seems like too much for so little, and he hasn’t shown restraint before when the fate of the world is on the line, but this?

Inktown03 - 12/17/2021, 12:24 PM
@Kyos - it was very sloppy

@Inktown03 - I mean he initially didn’t tamper with reality, he tried to do something more like mass telepathy. Then ended up doing it because otherwise he would’ve broken reality.

@Inktown03 - he used time manipulation on an apple. And is an established risk taker.

@Origame - Yeah Strange did say he already done the spell before for some party or something.

@heisei24 - "...some party..."

@heisei24 - @Origame - Exactly. He'd already done a smaller scale version of the spell for comical reasons. He thought he had successfully argued Wong out of his concerns, and he was begged to do it by a friend who had helped save the universe. Most importantly, it's clear it would have worked if Peter hadn't stepped all over it.

I loved Strange's solo film, and thought he was an underrated part of Infinity War. I just am not getting the whole "this is out of character" or "this contradicts his arc" arguments.

The final shot was the best in any MCU Spidey film ever

Spider-Man and strange shouldn’t have fought plot was super clunky, and when did Peter get the balls to challenge the master of the mystic arts?
