The cast of Spider-Man 2 will join the Oprah Winfrey Show next Monday, June 7. Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will come, possibly with some new clips of the film, according to Superhero Hype.

Also, Maguire, Dunst and Alfred Molina will appear separately on Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien. Dunst will be on the Ellen DeGeneres Show Friday, June 25.

Meanwhile, director Sam Raimi told Sci Fi Wire that he thought about pitting Spidey up against more than one villain in the sequel, before settling on just one–Molina as Dr. Octopus. "Well, there were a lot of different iterations of the story, and at times there was more than one villain, and at times there were more than two villains," Raimi said. "But it all came down to trying to focus on what I felt was the strongest aspect of the film and diminishing everything else so that it could live."
