A young boy learns that he has extraordinary powers and is not of this Earth. As a young man, he journeys to discover where he came from and what he was sent here to do. But the hero in him must emerge if he is to save the world from annihilation and become the symbol of hope for all mankind.

@driver

They spoke English on Krypton so the audience would not have to read subtitles thank goodness.
No one wants to read words while trying to see a movie with special effects,why miss the action reading?

They showed Zod speaking many languages when they first arrived & sent the communication over the television airways.
Kryptonian tech can translate Earths dialects easily.
