i hope they physically show darkseid and not just oliver (or lex) being possessed by him and fighting clark. and wear the [frick]ing costume for more than 5 secs...

the only suit he'll wearing for most of the two hours is for the wedding.

he'll wear the costume for the final scene,that is it.

2 hour finale,10-20 minutes of action-1 hour & 40 minutes for romance.

I don't really care if he wears the costume for more than 15 to 30 seconds, but I am going to be pretty angry if he doesn't confront a human version of Darkseid.

I love the bike jacket, at least it's something different than has been seen in Superman comic books for the past 60 years.

As much as I hope the Superman movie is a success, I really can't help but feel that having the two hour finale lead up to a 3d movie version of Smallville this summer would have made a lot more money for Warner Bros especially since there is a good chance Superman won't come out until 2013.

I say they'll surprise all and have him rock it the hour prior. If he's going to have a fighting scene in the finale which he should, it would be wack if they have him in street clothes or the bike jacket. This is why I believe it will be a hour worth.

Wait lets get this straight, Clarke's going up against; Desaad, Grannie Goodness, a Darkseid affected Green Arrow, Lionel, Lex, Zod and Darkseid all in one episode? With some other cameo's likely as well...ie Slade and possibly anyone else in this year's storyline.

Hahahaha...I love that Welling is going to face more epic Villains from Superman mythos in a 2 hour finale than all the Supes movies ever made combined.

SKone @ Having been introduced to Darkseid in the first episode and seeing him only once more, 15 episodes later, really does suck! I seriously hope Kelly was completely messing with us when she said Darkseid wouldn't take physical form.

Apokolips is bloody crashing into Earth! And yet its leader is no where to be seen? Hope this isn't the case

@teabag Oh yeah I know what you mean, with all those guys there will be a huge let down in terms of fighting and action but I just mean from a pure storyline and fanboy perspective Smallville is giving us more names than all the movies. Which is why they're rebooting but it's just cool to see everyone on there. I mean dude's not even Superman yet and he's gone through more guys than any movie Supes has...hahaha

LordDarkseid - I hope you're right. I really, really do! I've been a fan since the first episode and will be to the end. I hope the haters will be silenced. If you've read any of my past comments on this site, you'll know how much I dislike haters.

What you did describe sounds incredible. Tom Welling has been an awesome Clark. Likewise with Erica Durance who has been an ideal Lois.

@teabag I agree with the cameo issue...I'll take it over no cameos but they completely missed the boat with them. I mean come on, he's not even Supes yet but he's faced almost every enemy that Supes would go pon to face. After this Finale who's left for him to even become Superman to battle? He already beat Doomsday before he even saw the suit (and I agree with you...stupid Rubber Suit Doomsday was weak ass) but I liked the angle of him coming down in the meteor shower and kinda being his brother...

At the end of the day I think we can all agree this will be better than Lois and Clark Finale. Lol..

Clark is still wearing the outfit he was in when confronting Lex at the mansion...I'm starting to lean more to the fact that he will wear the suit for longer than 15 seconds!!!

Also was that apokolips in orbit attacking earth? Holy Crap!!!

And loved the superman theme at the end..
