As you can see theres no love lost there with Slade Wilson (Michael Hogan) and Clark Kent (Tom Welling).



The VRA is in full effect and things take an unfortunate turn of events after Green Arrow tries to stop a mugging but is attacked by citizens for being a super hero. Clark discovers that the civilians who attacked Oliver were all marked with the darkness tattoo. Carter Hall & Star Girl return to help Clark deal with Slade Wilson's re-emergence after he kidnaps Lois Lane.

Also starring: Erica Durance, Justin Hartley, Michael Shanks, Britt Irvin and Cassidy Freeman.

Cool find LEE. I watched the Ultraman episode last night and it was pretty good. They should have shown more of the bad Clark, and it was kind of ridiculous to expect us to believe that Green Arrow (along with Tess and Lois) could beat him, but John Glover was [frick]ing amazing! I forgot what an awesome actor/villain he was.

clark can't even getting the sky talk about the sun.:D

i thought you'd have to learn how to fly,but i ain't seen him take any lessons.

Hell yes we have [frick]ing hot girls up here...lots of them. But they definitely aren't american especially during hockey season.

Not sure how I feel about this episode..so far for this being the last season I have yet to really be impressed. However, Lionel coming back as a bad guy does interest me.

Thanks Leee for filling in for Teabag. Ok, everyone wants the last half of the season to blow them out of their reclining chairs but, seriously, this is Smallville after all. One week it's disappointing and the next week it's a let down followed by a "we're not even trying anyore" episode the week after that.

Deadpool, He has the suit, I don't understand why, with his superstrength, he can't just smash the fortress pillar containing his suit, take it and tell the Jor-El ghost, computer program, or whatever it is, to simply piss up a rope. He found his happy thought in Lois, lifted off the ground a couple of months ago, and has done nothing since. He doesn't even wear his new red jacket.

I have never understood their policy on the "no tights, no flights" deal. Of course they could be saying that because it might be really a budget problem for him to be flying all the time. But when he did fly in season 4, I thought it looked pretty sweet for a TV budget. The more recent times characters have flied, it didn't look-so-good.

And I love their take on Green Arrow. Although I want to see Hartley grow a goatee. Since the public knows who he is, it doesn't really matter if he has one now. (I would imagine he wouldn't grow one before, because it would be a lot more recognizable if someone spotted you in public) Of course this is an early take on the character... So yeah. :P

@vermillion- No flights, no tights is dead and gone, that was an agreement between Welling and the old producers that faded when the producers changed and has officially been reported as dead for season 10.

@knightstalker- Clark has made zero indication that he wants to wear the suit, so how the hell would him smashing up the fortress to get at it be good writing?
