Smallville scene cut out of "Idol" episode.

An early spoiler on Smallville episode "Idol" revealed that there would be a moment that was like "V for Vendetta." There were already spoiler images released of Zan and Jayna wearing Clark's symbol at the press conference. As you can see in Zan's picture, there are other citizens wearing The Blur's symbol that claimed to be The Blur.

This scene was either cut out due to cheesiness, lack of originality, or it could have been a simple issue of time. It also could have ended up being Lois's plea time because it set up the climax of the episode and gave Lois some time to speak and stick up for The Blur after bashing him the entire episode.

But no matter why they cut out this scene, I think it would have been cool to see the entire city stick up for their hero. It would have been much cooler to hear them all say "I'm Superman" but you've got to make lemonade when all they give you are lemons.

I still don't understand how they know what Clark's shirt looks like.In "Kandor", Tess gave Jor-El a shirt just like Clark's, but no one has seen the Blur.Just a minor gripe, but it's kinda annoying.

He's been leaving his symbol everywhere and Clark did appear in front of some people. He just didn't step all the way in the light so they could see his face.

"Idol" was the worst episode thus far, but it was still pretty okay. I found the Wonder Twins in the cartoon to be idiots, so I'm glad they pulled that off. I thought Lois was funny throughout the episode.

My sister said that she was happy to see Lois thrown off the roof of the Daily Planet, because that actually happens in the comic books (don't take it the wrong way, she loves Lois).

I think that the last few minutes were a classic love scene that should be remembered throughout television history. Lois is a pretty slick woman.
