JOHN GLOVER RETURNS AS LIONEL LUTHOR; EXECUTIVE PRODUCER KELLY SOUDERS MAKES HER DIRECTORIAL DEBUT — Tess (Cassidy Freeman) acquires a Kryptonian box that once belonged to Lionel Luthor (John Glover). When Clark (Tom Welling) accidentally activates the box, he’s transported to a parallel universe where Lionel found Clark in the cornfields instead of the Kents. In this universe, Clark Luthor is a murderer and Lois (Erica Durance) is engaged to Oliver (Justin Hartley) and both of them hate Clark. Clark must be careful not to tip off Lionel that he’s not his son while trying to figure out how to get back to Earth where the monster Clark Luthor was transported in his place. Executive producer Kelly Souders directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller.

Shame they couldn't have done that with Teri Hatcher and the LOIS & CLARK Universe, thats would have been something special and something never been done before!

After a few so-so filler episodes, I think that this will be a great one. Lionel Luthor was always a great character (until they ran out of things to do with him) and I'm a big fan of these alternate reality episodes.

Has anyone else noticed recently that Welling has gotten...uh...fat!? Maybe it's because he's getting older but it looks as if he has very little in the way of muscle during last weeks shirtless scene. I seriously have my doubts about him being able to play a big screen version in that shape! :P

Enough of that talk though. BOOBS!!!

deadpool72: She'd be perfect for it, right? Sadly, she's a topless model (and Polish) so I'm not sure whether that'll ever happen...it does give me an idea for the "Porn Parody" fan cast that I'm working on though, lol!

That is a interesting take on the Ultraman character my only problem is this would have been better before Micheal left the show because you really need the reverse of both Clark and Lex.

sounds like a great episode. and ive said before any show that advences clarks story line is not filler. just because it doesnt feature darkseid doesnt mean its filler. therefore even episodes like the thanksgiving one are not fillers cause it advances the lois and clark part of the superman story which is just as important to his character as putting on the suit. this episode will most likely also give him some insight into himself and his destiny, and also deal with daddy issues which is a part of the clark character on this show. not filler.

Does anyone agree that it's a good thing a LUTHOR
is gracing the set of smallville? Im sure
this episode will be one of it's better one's
because of it.

When THE LUTHORS and the KENTS were on the
show in the early days they carried the show.
Why and how did they do that?
Because the 4 of them could actually act that's
the how and the why. I keep holding my breath
that the cast that's in place will be able to
get things going..it's been rocky.

Welling is stuck in first gear and cant seem to
stop grinding the other gears and the writers
arent helping. Take tonights episode.. has nothing
to do with the DARKSEID arch nothing at all.
This is why people complain Clark is sword fighting
with a dead character...why? Because it's another
filler that's why..well it'll all be over soon
hopefully next time we get a live action cbm on
t.v. they'll cast quality actors and writers.

Folks, it's okay, we all know that grif and deadpool really love 'Smallville', but they wanna be in with the crowd that hate it...just like an outsider wants be in with the 'cool' crowd. As for this episode, I'm looking very forward to it as I am huge fan of John Glover. The man has presence, folks.
