Smallville has been going for a huge successful nine years now, and has picked up many characters on the way in the Smallville universe, but who do we want back? Theres Martha Kent (Annette O'Toole), not seen for quite a while, theres Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) and we all know he's not dead and even if he is this is a comic book show lol. Also theres Perry White, a big part in the Superman's mythos and of course theres Jimmy Olson (Aaron Ashmore) who died at the end of season 8, oops sorry spoiler there! But if he 'cough' wasn't the real Superman's pal Jimmy who is and where can he be running around?

Kelly Souders discusses all them and more Smallville characters about their fate, fortune or future right here.

From Kelly Sounders: Executive producer-

Perry White: "We would love for [Michael McKean] to come on right now, he's in a Broadway show. For now, it's a no."

Martha Kent: "We have the coolest idea for her to come back, so you never know. Hopefully in the future."

Lex Luthor: "There's no plans at the moment. [Rosenbaum's] got a rather busy schedule at the moment, but I know he'd love to be back and we'd love to have him back."

Executive producer sets the record straight on the Chloe & Clark's relationship and much more:

The real Jimmy: "By the end of the series, I think it's quite possible that you will see another Jimmy."

Old Jimmy: "That's always possible, too."

Davis Bloom: "Davis is buried very deep in the Earth, but we love [Sam Witwer]. I never say never." (LEEE777 - He should stay buried).

Dr. Emil: "Yes."

Metallo: "We don't have anything concrete, but we would love to have [Brian Austin Green] back."

Zatanna: "I don't know if I can say ..." (LEEE777 - I've read elsewhere she will be back).

Smallville: Who's going to die?

Kara: "Not presently." (LEEE777 - Damn damn damn, spin off series please).

Sam Lane: "You know what, you never know when you get in the writers room and suddenly Sam Lane [Michael Ironside] is going to be the answer to all of our problems."

Lucy Lane: "We don't have any plans to see Lucy [Peyton List] right now but we know fans would like more of Lois' personal life explored."

LEEE777 - So CBMers, who are your favorites in "Smallville" who would you like to return? Comments and even pictures below and let CW know! ; )

I don't think Lex will come back until the very end.

At Jimmy's funeral, they gave his camera to his little brother who was the real Jimmy Olsen we know from comics. Which makes sense too, since Jimmy should be younger than Lois and Clark.

I am enjoying the cameos this season! Nice find Lee!

NIGHT @ ; )

BAMF @ Thanx and your right that was lil Jimmy. Though i really don't get why CW put a character who's called JIMMY not as JIMMY in SMALLVILLE, coz it was kinda sad just making everyone beieve he's JIMMY but what am i saying we've got STARGIRL instead of the original STARMAN soon coming up to lol.

BMAN @ Yeah about JIMMY lol heh heh and copyright that idea of it'll show up on there! ; D

They have to bring back Perry White. That could usher in a little show we like to call Metropolis :D. And then offcourse bring in little bow tie jimmy.
Even Cat Jones is coming to the Planet so why not the rest of the bunch.

White should come back to the show because he belongs at the Dailey Planet instead of Tess Mercer. Maybe she'll give him the job cause shes busy with Kryptonians

Martha should come back to make Clark's uniform and help turn him into Superman.

Lex should come back cause...ITS [frick]ING LEX LUTHER

Zatanna, Metallo, and Kara should come back just cause they are all great in the show.

I guess it would be cool to see Lois's dad or sister again.

BRING BACK LEX!!! Un(frick) the fact that they "killed" him! I'd like to see a full on Doomsday punch his way to the surface like in the comic, that'd be cool.

I would like to see Pete Ross again. He was such a great character and could really develop something cool storyline wise. He comes back from his disapperance with a chip on his shoulder. He's angry that he felt like he was such a good friend to Clark but he didn't return the favor when he needed him the most. So he wants to get back at him because after he left Smallville his life went down hill. He became homeless and was left with nothing until his mother passed away and had a huge insurance policy that gave him money in which he went through college and got a degree in journalism. He becomes a reporter for the Daily Planet and replaces Lois as the main writer of Blur articles. He soon starts running sladner articles about the Blur starting up a whole whirwind of hate rumblings towards the Blur. He also arranges to have a lot of stuff to be screwed up in Clark's life because with some of the money he got he started an underground gambling / drug smuggling ring which he covered up eith by being a reporter. He then started seeking out people, villians, etc willing to try to take Clark out. Which puts Clark in a bind because he still cares about Pete and wants to save him from the life he has been lead into. And then..................
Wait, that idea is totally [frick]ed. Sam Jones is in jail.

The only one I actually have a strong desire to see return is Rosenbaum.

Though I wouldn't mind if Perry, Davis, or Zatanna came back either.

@flames: the Justice League or whatever they were all went their separate ways they haven't said where Cyborg is. Manhunter is a detective in Metropolis I think, (he lost his powers.) and Supergirl went to look for Kandor because she heard it was still out there.

Why can't they just cancel this show and put reaper back on
InTylerWeTrust
InTylerWeTrust - 10/30/2009, 4:56 PM
supermario: Amen to that. I still watch the show and I can enjoy it most of the time, but it's overdue for a finish.

I just recently started watching Reaper as well, and it's an awesome show. Totally hilarious, sharp writing, great characters, and terrific performances. Ridiculous that it got canceled in only its second season. Damn shame.

LEEE777 - 10/30/2009, 5:20 PM
Flames @ Soz dude, i didn't do that JUSTICE pic lol! ; D

I wonder why they didn't put CYBORG in, though he really was a TEEN TITAN lol!

TYLER @ Damn your abit late on REAPER, its a pity you didn't watch it was on, it needed the ratings!! : D

Reaper was the BEST. Ray Wise will always be the coolest devil ever. (chx fried steak!) Think he's gonna be back in Jeepers Creepers 3 as a reeeally old version of himself.
supermarioworldE
supermarioworldE - 10/30/2009, 9:34 PM
@Tyler

If I remember correctly, They didn't even have a last episode for Reaper. Things were left hanging.

@LEE,

I wondered the same thing, but then I realized, years later that It's Smallville! Things don't have to make sense, or be true true to the comics on Smallville. It's a ridiculous show made by people who don't care about the source material, or the fans that they show this show to every week.

@antz

I was always waiting for the series finale, where god, played once again by Alanis Morrisette, would appear on the show.

@Underhill

Y'know, a wise man once told me that "Getting someone flowers on Christmas, doesn't make up for missing valentines day". Smallville has gone through too many bad seasons to start making good episodes now. Don't worry though, smallville isn't alone. Heroes is/has reaching/reached the bottom as well

oreilly - 10/30/2009, 11:56 PM
Sam Witwer was AWESOME last season, but I don't know how they could possibly bring him back with the way they ended things last season. Maybe as some type of Doomsday clone, but bringing back Doomsday would be a HUGE mistake.

Oh, and how did Brainiac coming back not come up?

Now a subject near and dear to my heart. Smallville is having a great year.

The episode I would like to see would go something like this: Through a turn of events, Clark finds himself in Smallville in the year 1870, but it isn't called Smallville. It's Biggstown. Something has change the course of history. As the story unfolds, Clark teams up with Jonathan Kent's great-great-grandfather (John Schneider) and Brisco County, Sr. (Bruce Campbell) to put things right. Series regulars would appear in various altermate roles. Sounds like fun to me.

Mario @ You've got a point dude, but still ya gotta luv the DC Universe cameos!!

And yes GUYS @ Never bring that piece of sh1te back called DOOMSDAY, i love the character but CW [frick]ed him up from start to finish, hell i dont even see that watered down waste of space as DOOMIE anyway!!

DOOMSDAY is mean't for the MOVIES!!

Luv it!!

It's without a doubt that Doomsday should never again be seen on Smallville, but you guys have to admit that Sam Witwer acted the hell out of the Davis Bloome character. He played 'guy-with-an-inner-demon' very well.
