Brian Austen Green, best known as Derek Reese in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is all set to appear as Metallo/John Corben in the ninth Season of Smallville.



He will appear in at least the first two episodes of Season 9, and the Smallville version of the longtime Superman villain will be introduced as Daily Planet journalist John Corben, which is similar to the character's Silver Age era background in the comics.

i find it hard to care about any Smallville news anymore after season 8. Season 7 was awful b ut 8 started off looking like it would be so much better even without Lex (which it was for the first few episodes) then they screwed it up with the whole Lana having powers storyline, the crap way they brought back 'Lex' and a 22 episode boring build up to a Superman/Doomsday fight that ended with Doomsday punching Clark twice (with Clark never throwing a single punch) only to end the season with the worst finale I have ever seen.

Thank god Supernatural is worth watching.

JOSH @ I totally agree with you! That was the the WEAKEST SMALLVILLE i ever saw too! The build up was so crap, mans it should've been a best season finale ever ffs!

Just for the record, i never did want DOOMSDAY in SMALLVILLE but with him and all them CAMEOS it should've been fragging Awesome an it wasn't just a waste, An JIMMY dying wtf???? WTF, CHLOE basically needed to FRIG off an say bye bye since season 2, damn i hate dat anoyin' b!tch lol!

I loved all these DC cameos etc but since season 7, CLARK should've gone an it should've been renamed GREEN ARROW or something ffs! Used to be my fav show dammit! : D

Leee do you realize the amount of pointless, irrelevant, downright silly stuff that would show up if all the articles were visible? Not to mention all of the double posts. If its front page worthy it finds its way there eventually. And if anyone cant figure out that there are more than one tab, well i think you will agree thats there problem! Its not exactly complicated

As for Green, i cant say im too happy about Little Miss Muffett on Smallville, but then again we did already have Tori Spelling! Maybe they are trying to get a 90210 reunion going...thats what the show feels like these days anyway!

yes the hawk there can be only one! and i'm sure i'm the one!! lol aight thanks i forgot that Katie Homles even existed...oh MRS Tom!..oh there it is..oops..man i'm hoping clark indeed does fly don the suit, gets the girl, kicks ass in smallville instead of beating off under the desk at the DP and lois always gives him that look "I know what your doing", The Tess really wants to blow him...Geez why cant they just have an awsome season instead of alot of dialog, few fight scenes, where clark gets his ass kicked then in some mircale he pushes the bad guy and bam its over!! SEASON 9 Metallo, The Planteer, Lois in the Future with the LEGION!!!!!!

I liked him on 90210 but he got my respect on "Terminator." I think he's a good choice...not that anything good will come of it cause we've seen just how willing the producers of Smallville are to screw us with crap filled letdowns.

If this is going to be their last season then I hope they do not continue to let the fans down. I have been watching this show from the beginning and the only highlight of this season as mainly the Legion. The Doomsday fight was a huge let down though. Brian Austen Green doesn't bother me being on the show eiter.

Hey I still dig Smallville. The early episodes were better, but now we're getting more characters from the books. I still make sure to tune in every week.

In fairness, Smallville was never must see tv. It always had good episodes along the way but it was never consistent enough and pandered to the 90210 crowd far too often. Add to that some pretty wooden acting and you have a mediocre show that we all watch because theres superheros in it!

Instigirl(i shortened that shit!) lmao, man i remeber letting outburst like that towards Mike so many times..as will Shaman, Hawk etc. You get used to him..plus i think he feeds off our anger!
