Smallville Season 9 will premiere on Friday the September 25th on CW Network.

The CW Network has released the official (spoiler-filled) description of the 2nd episode of Season 9. It's titled "Metallo." The episode is scheduled to air on Friday on October 2nd.

After being struck by a truck, John Corben (Brian Austin Green) wakes up alone in an abandoned apartment as a man-machine with a Kryptonite heart. Corben realizes he now has superhuman strength and sets out to exact revenge on the Red-Blue Blur, who he perceives to be an irresponsible vigilante. Against Clark's (Tom Welling) wishes, Lois Lane(Erica Durance) involves herself in the Red-Blue Blur's investigation, and winds up getting kidnapped by Corben (Yeah, you would think she'd learn).

Metallo looks pretty sweet but I wish Clark was wearing THE suit or something closer to it.. its cool tho.

i swear its like they go out of thier way to variate comic movie characters from the original ones.

its like they want to make less money,less people happy,and have more complaints.

Guys @ I hated the last season, but this is probably the last so im gonna watch, it should be much better than season 8, which wont be hard lol!

Damn, they should've never used DOOMSDAY (Save him for the movies).

Saying that, i like all the DC UNiverse cameos, thats whats cool to me, an LOSH episode was Awesome!!!

More cameos, but no BIG ones like DARKSEID etc!

Hopefully will get GOOD spin off shows outta this! ; )

Cant wait for HUMAN TARGET, hey its DC lol.

Ugh...its cool that we have a costume (kind of) but he really does look like a poor man's Neo from The Matrix!

To be fair though, the Metallo "costume" loks pretty well done!

Still, i think its fair to say that like season 6, 7 and 8 it'll just end up being another huge disappointment!!! :(

I said MARTIX lol, I would've liked it better if they saved the S for his SUPES suit, at the very last minute of the very last episode, oh well, its the DC cameos that does it for me!!!

Anyway, i bet he only using this costume for a couple of eps, an it'll be back to normal!

Anyway i can see why he would change colors, he's nearly been caught out with the RED & BLUE thing lol!

Really he should wear a mask lol, but then it wouldn't be SUPERMAN! ; D

Terrible, terrible, and terrible. Aside from the Matrix aspect, this is backwards. Why not just leave him in the red and blue or the black "Lazarus" suit? "Smallville" lost its path a long time ago. This is the ultimate proof.
