Mrs. Dr. Fate on "Smallville"?

The "Smalliville" preview trailer aired on The CW Network last night and had shots A Justice Society HQ with team portrait, a white gloved hand of Alan Scott wearing his Green Lantern ring as well as a shot of Wesley Dodds in Sandman outfit and Dr Fate, too. Check what other information has come my way:

The Internet Movie Database has now listed actress Erica Carroll (Supernatural) as playing wife of Kent Nelson (Doctor Fate).

Doctor Fates wife is Inza Nelson and in the DC comic books she even took the role of Dr Fate for a while, though that probably wont ever happen here.

When Inza Nelson became Dr Fate: Inza and Kent Nelson's souls, which had been inhabiting Doctor Fate's amulet, were resurrected in new young bodies. However, they found that now only Inza was able to become Doctor Fate. She spent her time striving to improve the lot of humanity, but Kent chided her about her "reckless" use of magic.

She strove to use her new powers proactively, unlike Kent, who waited for trouble to manifest before using his powers. Her inexperience initially worked against her, but she grew more competent with experience. Her growing confidence led to increasing recklessness. Kent and Inza eventually separated over her use of the power.

"Absolute Justice" Stars of the JSA so far: Michael Shanks (Hawkman), Britt Irvin (Stargirl), Brent Stait (Doctor Fate), oh and our green pal Phil Morris(John Jones/Martian Manhunter) is turning up too.

The episode is written by Geoff Johns and directed by Glen Winter.

LEEE777 - Now I know IMDB.com is sometimes off the ball and somethings are rumors, like movie roles etc., but they have been dead on with "Smallville" news so expect this to be true.

I really wonder who else is going to show up from the DC Universe before this season ends? Comments and thoughts below.

why don't they keep him as a writer and get rid of all the others that they have? i would be happy if we had him full time penning the scripts.
