New "Smallville" Lois & Clark Love Scene!

I'd say the best scene was Chloe getting gutted.You can keep your love scenes.

Hurray for Chloe being offed, but the Clois scene kinda irked me. Here I am lobbying for Welling to be the next big screen Superman because of his Supermanly physique and here he seems to have put on a little padding. WTF Mr.Welling? If you don't want to be Superman just don't sign on the dotted line, no need to let yourself go like that.

Yes, he is still in decent shape, nothing he can't come back from, but he has almost no definition anymore.

MisterUnderhill: your reasoning is sound,but I think your mistaken about Routh. Routh is 6'1-6'3 220-225lbs the guy is in pretty good shape. Yes Kal-el is powered by a yellow sun. you'd think because he's superior to mortal men he wouldnt have a problem with fat stores settling around his midsection.
It just doesnt make for super t.v. when Green Arrow,Aquaman,Lex Luthor,Zod shall I go on... have a better physique than the so-called SUPERMAN. IT REALLY DOESNT MATTER WELLING IS CLARK KENT and small screen made for t.v. Superman. Leave the big screen to the big boys like Routh and Bale...Oh and I love Smallville by the way and this season has restored my faith.

Welling was still large and defined last season, this padding is a new development.

Superman is always ripped in the comics, granted he may never have been shown working out, but he is still always ripped, the idea of him not being muscular is exclusive to the live action movies.

LEEE: Thanks for the pic...if your out of shape last thing you need to put on is tight spandex. I dont think you need to be ripped, heck there's not many people in hollywood nor walking around that are ripped. Besides bodybuilders and a few pro athletes Brad Pitt,a roided out Stallone back in the day,Micheal Jai White there's a few others of course. All you need is a good strong muscular frame and a flat belly.

Welling isnt Superman anyways he's Clark Kent trying to figure out how to become Superman. By the time that happens at the rate of the decline of his phyisque we'll be casting him for some fat police det. in a CBM....lol.

Im sorry Routh is Superman get rid of Sweetcheeks Singer and let a man with a man's point of view make the movie. Less love more action credible challenging type villian or villians keep Lex in the backdrop for now. Welling is still large... he's never been defined he was in good shape season 1-3 the guy that played Aquaman is defined not ripped there's a diffrence.

Besides if you ask me Welling isnt even the most intersting and definetly not the best actor on his on show. That prize goes to Ollie Queen,Lex,and now the guy playing ZOD. ARROW AND Zod THEY'RE CARRYING THE SHOW
when you start talking about intersting and entertaining characters. Let's face it WELLING is small screen let's put a cape on him make a 2hr movie where he finally dones the cape and have a spin-off.

HarrisonB: yes for some reason they've made everyone exciting and interesting and then there's Clark. I know alot of people on here hate Chloe, but even her character is starting to develop more.
She's running the Watchtower and seems to be willing to do whatever to get the job done. I know she's been a little annoying in the past,but whats with all the Chloe HATE from most people on here?

Cain and Hatcher? Wasnt Cain & Hatcher's version actually married? I didnt really care for the show overall mainly because they had terrible villians , bad acting, and awful special effects. With all of that tanking I think Cain and Hatcher had pretty good chemistry and I liked Hatcher a little better as Lois.

I think Welling is fine for the made for t.v. Superman, but not the big screen he just doesnt have IT. Routh has IT he just needs a better Lois and a better storyline. I will say this much this is the first SUPERMAN based show or movie that I've actually enjoyed. Smallville just keeps getting better inspite of Welling's extra padding,no flight, nor proper uniform attire...LOL.

HarrisB: I hear you she is annoying,but so is Lois she pretty much talks the same way. I just try to ignore
them as much as possible and enjoy parts of the show
I actually like.

Like I posted earlier I think her character(Chloe) is getting a little darker and she becoming a very important piece of the puzzle. I dont think she's going anywhere...she'll be in the WATCHTOWER.

@blade, I have been noticing that Lois talks very similarly at times, but for me her character has redeeming factors, like the way Durance and Welling play Lois and Clark together, plus she actually looks the part she is playing. Mack is cute-ish, but her look combined with the way the dialog is written for Chloe just isn't right for this new manipulative b***h role they have her playing.
