i just watched it WTF happened at the end any theories, lex and clark should join forces to take down apocalypse now that would be epic paying homage to there friendship at the begining

tonights episode was kind of a let down. the deathstroke/hawkman fight was alright.

seeing hawkgirl's helmet was maybe the coolest part.

Okay, anyone else feel a bit cheated that, "Icarus", named after a story about someone trying to fly, had nothing to do with Clark actually flying (or at least trying to)?

@ BruceWayneNewton: really? Routh? Still? I mean, I ain't saying Welling should be in the movie or anything (in fact, I never see that happening and probably for the better) but Routh was seriously the worst Superman ever!!! WORST EVER!!! I'd rather have them take Christopher Reeve's corpse, put it on strings like a marionette, and do Conan O'Brien-esque mouth movements to make the film than have what we saw last time... Really.

Tonights episode was painful to watch In order to keep Impulse and Cyborg from being seen they hid there faces! thats BS!

So far pretty good season but its starting to feel very Strange with all these teasers to things we may never see, He needs to go ahead and put the damn suit on already

no five minute action scene this episode,this show just needs to hurry up & get to the point.

The fight with Hawkman and Slade was awesome. I thought the episode was great. Can't wait for it to come back on.

Last Episode was nice, it had some classic Smallville moments, especially the funeral. That was dope, show has a budget stop bitching at least they're presence was shown (head down or up). But I do have to say if that was the case then they should included Supergirl

This time they did good on Hawkman's wings

I've got to say that after discussing this episode on the K-site forums I can understand why so many on CBM hate the show. I am a fan, but the level of disinterest that Smallville fans have in the mythos is maddening.

In case you guys missed it, Supergirl has been dubbed Supergirl on SV. There are people who find this to be a non-issue.

foxforce5 @ you know the title was referring to Hawkman, since Icarus is a greek myth about a man with wings who has his wings set on fire...just as hawkman had his wings set on fire in the show. i find it MORE interesting that the title referred to hawkman than clark. If there was only focus on clark the entire show, it would get terribly boring.

Thought it was great. They do have a budget so if they have to get stand ins sometime so be it. They weren't integral to the story so does it really matter if you see their faces? Geez some people. I for one think its been a great season and I'm looking forward to the final half ever.
