I'm really hoping this show ends well. I've watched it since the beginning. It's had some cringe-worthy episodes. It still has some great episodes/moments, though.

Although I'm more than happy Henry Cavill will be playing Superman in the new film! :D

Overall I think it's been pretty damn good. The only downside have been episodes that feel like filler, but the full embracing of the comic book elements has been exciting.

Yeah I've been pretty impressed (the crappy new uniform not withstanding). Things should ramp up from here With not more filler style episodes and im expecting a big finish. Haters be damned :)

They can say what they want, but the bottom line is that next to the radio show, Smallville has represented the longest-running incarnation of Superman in the character's history. And 10 years on it STILL has millions of fans around the world. One other point that no one has raised: a single episode of Smallville reaches 10 to 20 times as many people than read the comics.

Excellent point about the comics vs. the show, but I think more people have probably read a Superman-related comic or seen a comic-based cartoon at some point in their lives than have watched Smallville.

Regardless of any issues I may have with the haphazard DCU continuity mash-up Smallville has become I'm having a hard time understanding all the venom regarding the costume- from the beginning the show has been about Clark Kent BEFORE he became Superman. That's how it has always been conceived, presented and promoted - why would anyone expect that to change now? IMO, we SHOULDN'T see him in the suit until the last shot, because once he becomes Superman the story is over.

Im superpumped about the last episodes... even though CW screwed me last week with that Bullshite Vampire Diahrea show in SmallVille's place. Let's go Tom... you're on the clock, buddy. Make em count!!!!!!!

@supersayianfan1

Tom had more chemistry with a dog than he had with KK after S2. KK is not a good actress. KK will never be on Glover's level when it comes to acting, okay? No season is worst than S7, not even Failsday can beat it! TW and ED has had great chemistry since "Crusade." Unlike TW and KK, you actually believe their characters have sex rather you see it onscreen or not. You actually can buy them as couple, and not just two people talking about the same BS.
