SMALLVILLE Stars Tom Welling & Erica Durance Reunite On The Kent Farm In CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS First Look

They're back.

Eight years after we bid farewell to Smallville, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) and Lois Lane (Erica Durance) have reunited on the Kent Farm for DC TV's upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths," a special event that's quite possibly shaping up to be the most ambitious crossover in television history.

Production began on Tuesday and is expected to continue for a few weeks as DC characters from Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Black Lightning and Smallville unite to save the multiverse from the biggest threat its ever seen.

The former on-screen lovebirds (Clois!) headline a large number of returning special guest stars, including LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor/Anti-Monitor, Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman, Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/Earth-90 Flash, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Kevin Conroy as future Bruce Wayne and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role. Additional Black Lightning characters are also expected to appear, but it's not entirely clear which ones just yet.

Both Brandon Routh (Legends of Tomorrow) and Tom Cavanagh (The Flash) will be pulling double duty for their respective shows. Routh will suit up as both The Atom and Kingdom Come Superman, while Cavanagh is expected to play Pariah in addition to the latest iteration of Harrison Wells.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins with Supergirl on December 8, followed by Batwoman on December 9, The Flash on December 10 and concludes with an Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14, 2020.

Odds that the CW green-lights a Smallville revival?

@tmp3 - Wow I'd actually like to see that now that I think about it. But Chloe though....no getting around that.

@tmp3 - Not really in CW's hands if Welling refuses to do an actual, fully suited Superman. Some kind of a spin-off set in Smallville universe, now I could see that.

@tmp3 - I'd take a damn tv movie at least.

Idk about a full on revival though, but I think if so now is the time as these cameos are renewing burning interest in the show.

About the only thing about this that is holding my attention. The Arrowverse just disappointed me to the point on numbness.

I think the headline I'm most hoping for is:

"David Ramsay is pulling double duty as both John Diggle and Green Lantern John Stewart"

Honestly my favorite version Lois and an underrated version of Clark. For a superman show that doesn't actually show Superman it was fairly entertaining and still held up last time I watched some episodes. They treated Clark like he was a normal person, not a god or some emotionally stunted guy. The guy went to high school just like everyone else and it never makes sense when they make him act differently.

@JustAChillFan - so... Not Superman or even Clark really...

@UltimaRex - if you think Clark isn't just a mellow fairly normal guy you don't read Superman comics. The show wasn't called Superman, it was called Smallville. It focused on Clark Kent and how he decided to become a super hero. He didn't need to be Superman because he wasn't Superman yet. But please continue to lecture about stuff you clearly don't know anything about. Lol

@UltimaRex - you asked a question I figured that I wouldn't need to respond to seeing as how almost every Superman comic fan knows who he is buddy. Also you clearly have a different opinion on what you like about Superman and what version is best so whatever lol.
