It could be part of Lois's dream where it showed her the future and this is symbolising Superman's death at Doomsday's hands

But I hope the actual death isnt in Smallville, that would [frick] continuity up...even more than it already has

The metallo episode was great. Green played a great part. The guy they got for Zod is pretty intense too.

Maybe Zod will resurrect Doomsday and make him kill Clark. We never actually saw Doomsday die and i doubt he would die from an explosion.

They already messed up Doomsday in Smallville, I hope they save a resurrection/resurgance for a movie where they can do him justice with awesome makeup/CG. They should just use Zod and various other unused villains. I don't remember, but did they use Parasite?

@ Tobuttica - they have used Parasite on Smallville. Here's the excerpt from wikipedia...

In the season 8 episode "Injustice", Rudy Jones aka Parasite, appears with Livewire aka Leslie Willis, Neutron aka Nathaniel Tryon, and also Plastique aka Bette Sans Souci, whom form into a team of meteor freak rogues (Metahumans) who search for Davis Bloome aka Doomsday. He is played by actor Brendan Fletcher. His powers are similar to the animated series' character, except that he permanently absorbs the powers of those he touches. He can also return them.

@ GambitAceofSpades - Metallo will be back, at the end of the episode, they said he is offline, so that opens the door for future progression of his character, plus B.A. Green says he would like to return to the role.

@KidFReSHofKrypt0n I was on the set of smallville when they had Parasite on. Didn't know who he was supposed to be at the time, but he kept on walking past me and my brother with a big grin on his face. I"m making the trip several more times this winter. its only a couple hours from us here in Seattle, so why not.

If anything this should've been when DOOMSDAY was around in season 8, though DOOMSDAY should never of been put in SMALLVILLE!

If DARKSEID turns up, thats it not watching no more lol.

Maybe when they end smallville it will end in a movie with doomsday coming back and killing supes. or maybe they will it in the show, but either way we all know doomsday is still alive and we know a explosion didnt kill him so he will be back and my guess is it will end smallville when he returns.

Doomsday has to come back. They need some retribution after his terrible ending.

DOOMSDAY COULD COME BACK BIGGER AND STRONGER THIS TIME. Smallville already screwed up the Doomsday stuff especially in last seasons finale and they also spent the whole of Season 8 teasing Clark's death so I really dont think that it would be a wise decision for them to go through all that again!

However, even though the season premiere was pretty average, the latest episode was actually pretty good (i cant believe how quicky they brought back regular Clark, lol!)

Doomsday won't be back. Zod and his army will probably kill Clark. Yeah the similarities are hard to ignore but No Doomsday and this is just predictions Lois is seeing, so you know that Clark will prevent them.

are you kidding me?? the whole series is wrong, lol. unless you know something everyone else doesn't. even fans of the show admit its wrong.

i was unaware that clark met any of the justice league before he was superman. all these characters that they keep throwing into the show, guess what. clark never knew ANY of them before he was supes. metallo, zod, doomsday, all of this is nonsense. superman never knew who any of these people were when he was clark in smallville. this show just throws in characters for ratings.

basically what i'm saying, is the show does everything wrong.

but i mean, how long could the show have gone on if it stayed a teen love drama with no villains. they had to put actual characters in to keep interest. even if it is terribly wrong.
