I am not too excited about the finale for some reason. I have also noticed that any time someone related to Smallville is interviewed they talk about the Superman universe as if it only exists on film. The comic books are always ignored. I like my Supes to be a little bit more well versed on the history and on comic books in general. I will say, though, that no matter what the context, I get chills every time I hear the John Williams score. They have been pimping that in the finale promos- so good job on that.

off topic but when I think of Amy Adams as Lois I'm worried. I'm on the Erica D band wagon plus I would love to twist her out.

despite smallvilles obvious problems and faults, tom welling has done a fantastic job of portraying clark and is pretty much the only reason ive kept watching this show, so despite how the finale goes down im sure hes done his best to tribute the character

Between Smallville and the Superman Returns movie...Superman has been getting the SHIT-END of the stick in terms of live-action media. I think with Smallville effectively ENDING in 2011. And the Superman reboot being the LAST Superman movie in 2012. They should let go of Superman for...a long time by 2013 and beyond (besides with the lawsuit who can say where he'll be)

Keep Superman in animated stuff in the mean time. WB seems too incompetent to make movies for the guy. I mean they are struggling just to have him actually FIGHT in the movies. But in terms of animation- Superman was ALWAYS a total badass. I mean- STAS, JL, JLU, Worlds Finest...all the animated DC movies he's been awesome- Public Enemies, Superman Doomsday, JLA 2 Earths etc- even that show The Batman and Batman Brave and the Bold Superman only had cameos but my basic point is- Superman always did waaaaaaay better in animated form than live-action. Keep him animated and as a massive Superman-fan I'm all good. =D WB doesn't know how to make a proper Superman movie anyway. Not a huge loss for the 2012 film to be the last.
