Ok, I have been on both sides on saying either Clark will die or won't die. In this video, Chloe is dreaming of Davis. When she is done kissing him, she spots a trail of blood and follows it. She finds a ripped in half Clark, with the s sign. Well there you have it, Clark will not die in finale, but will die when he is Superman. But I do agree that if they ended the series in the finale, then have Clark die. Davis was actually talking to us when he said "what did you think was gonna happen?"


Or is this proof that we see Superman in the finale? I doubt it

ok just cuz deadpool breaks the 4th wall doesn't mean that every single character will from now on. same w/ ppl who cast Megan Fox as every chick hero. When i watched this the other night i didn't notice that it was only half of him... that was cool lol but i don't think this will happen during Smallville

Breaking the fourth wall is when you are watching a play and one of the actors in the scene (usually the main character) pauses from the interaction with the other actors and speaks directly to the audience. In the billy shake-a-spear world it's called an aside. Ferris Beuller did it alot, although, he could have been narrarating.

Im just kidding, its when an actor comes out of the closet. So deadpool is a pirate.

In regards to the complete off topic 4th wall Deadpool bit. Deadpool is the only character that actually knows he is a comic book character. So in the comics there are times he actually speaks to you (the reader), much like was previously mentioned of actors speaking to the audience. Deadpool went to mental he realized he was actually a comic book character.

By the way, can we please stop with the girl froo-froo Superman crap!!! Give him the costume let him patrol the city and fight some actual threats to the human race damnit!

Wow! I havnt watched an episode to this show since the second season since I realized how ridiculous it was.

Anyone else find the show as ridiculous as I do? I mean I'm not downing anyone if they do like it, but dude....come on.

Smallville is an abomination to the Superman mythos, Elseworlds tale or not as I have been told that's how it's to be taken as. The show needed to end several seasons back and honestly, I don't see how much longer it can continue to go on. It is crapola, nuff said.

i only started watching smallville last year (buying all the dvd boxsets) but i cant imagine how pissed off anyone who has watched it since it started must be...i watched the first 7 seasons in about a month and by then i was frustrated by how slow it was all moving. i still watch season 8 and will probably watch until the show ends but more out of curiosity than anything else.

apart from a handful of good episodes smallville has been a waste of what could have been a much better show, insteadit has been stretched out with crap like clark and lana instead of giving fans what they want-clark kent at least acting something like superman costume or not! it took them 7 years to get him working in the daily planet and that was probably only because the shows creators left. if they were still in charge, it would be even worse!

I like Smallville also ,but I never once since season one expected anything to really line up with the comic.
First season Pete Ross a black guy no no no,who's Chloe,Impulse hanging out with a young Clark Kent dont think so,K-ROCK all over Smallville giving everyone who comes in contact with it super powers LOL. WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID I STILL LIKE SMALLVILLE, BECAUSE ITS THE BEST SUPERMAN FIX I CAN GET OR I'VE EVER GOTTEN. Please dont write me back about the Chris Reeves Superman he's no longer with us so I wont go there.
Now expecting Doomsday to kill Clark only after he turns into Superman well Im not so sure he's going to ever become Superman HE STILL CANT FREAKIN FLY. I THINK HE'S CLOSER TO DYING AT THE HANDS OF DOOMSDAY AS CLARK THAN FLYING AND BECOMING SUPERMAN. This isnt Superman its Smallville and he doesnt even live there anymore nor does ma and pa Kent. Like I always say this is a Superman from an alternate universe he's not from the DCU that we know. Ma Kent's a Senator, Chole's running the Watchtower, and Cyborg is part of the Justice League....alternate universe.

Wow, I didn't get that at all. But that's an interesting translation, man.

I just got that she was dreaming about all of her mixed emotions for davis, from her attraction, to her fear of him, to her fear of what he could do to clark, which is revealed in that episode to be the main factor for her keeping davis hidden.

For me, it was just davis telling her, "eventually, no matter what you do, me and him will find each other". It's her great fear. She sees herself as clark's protector.

But they will meet. Even if she kept him until she died of old age, when she did go, davis would still be there and so would clark. It's just a matter of time.

Ha, I'm with you blade. I just chant the mantra every episode "AU, AU, AU... its just an AU..." It calms the weeping when superman "jumps" off of a plane.

im tired of everyone downing the show if you dont like it you dont have to watch it i personally am a fan just because i learned a long time ago that this isnt the classic superman this is just another interpretation i hope they cut some of the mushy bull though the best episode this season was when jimmy found out davis was a murderer and choloe didnt believe him so he told her to shove it because it wasnt one of those mushy endings it an ending that was actually satisfying i hope they can finish the next season in a very satisfying way that wont leave the true fans pissed

What the hell?! Were you watching the entire part of that sequence? Cloe was dreaming of Davis. It turned into a nightmare when she saw Clarks dismembered body. She was dreaming of Davis killing Clark. It wasnt forshadowing. it was a dream.

I think SMALLVILLE turning real dark, which is good!!! Ive just seen BEAST and it was really good, can't wait for INJUSTICE and OMG DOOMSDAY!!!! Yes, i still rather DOOMSDAY in the movies (An he better be), but im really enjoying it at the moment on SMALLVILLE!!! Pity theres only a few left! : (
