Yeah, I think they might have been going for that look, and it might've worked except the the s looks spray painted. A black training suit from Jor el would have been cool...this, less so.

Wow...is that what he's actually going to wear? That's F*&#!N STUPID! It looks like he stole some stockbroker's trench coat, took a black t-shirt and drew the "S" on it with a stick of sidewalk chalk. If I were Clark I'd use my superspeed with that mofo on so no one would see me wearing it. Seriously, since when did Clark put his suit together at Hot Topic? He looks like an extra for the Twilight movies. His face looks all tormented...mine would too if my friends caught me wearing that. Even with their crappy budget all the costume designers had to do was go buy a Superman halloween costume and it'd look ten times better than this. Give him a cowboy hat to go with his fairy boots and they could cast him in Kevin Costner's next western film. Man, even "The Nuclear Man" from Super-F&^%#in-Man 5 didn't look as retarded as this. Well, "It's what Jor-El was wearing"...I couldn't give a rat's a$$ what Jor-El was wearing, if he wants to look like he's headed to a funeral then whatever man, but this outfit gives away one of Clark's deepest secrets to his enemies and friends...it finally pysically shows he's tried to hide for sooo long: Superman is just a emo butt-f(*&^king crybaby, someone drive a kryptonite stake through Super Dracula's heart please....

Take off the coat get a better S shield for the shirt,but what you suggested makes sense. Doesnt really matter to me like I've been saying for years this isnt Superman. Atleast not the one we all know and love he's some alternate version of Superman. Im fine with that so the show doesnt really piss me off, because I dont expect certain things. I know it's not going to flow with the comics I've read for the past 40yrs there's just too many things that dont line up. All and all it's a entertaining show and I'll continue to watch unless they have Clark and Lex locked in a loving passionate tongue kiss...then I'd have to DROP the show from my weekly viewing list.
