GORR: THE GOD BUTCHER (plot idea for an animated Gorr origin story in the MCU)

My idea for a Gorr origin story animated film, set in the MCU. This article ties in with my other Thor: The god butcher articles.

GORR : THE GOD BUTCHER

rating: R (for blood and gore, with sci-fi and fantasy violence)

ACT 1

Gorr is a scientist living on the planet Indigarr. Gorr and other scientist know that their universe is dying but unlike the others who simply pray to the gods for aid, Gorr tries to invent a machine to survive the destruction and collect data from it. When Gorr announces his invention to the planet a solar flare strikes, knocking out all electricity and turning it into a barren wasteland. Gorr, along with his family and the other rich Indigarrians come out of their cryo sleep shelters they had hidden to find everything they knew is gone.

ACT 2

The tribe of Indigarrians wanders the desert, meeting up with similar tribes until they have quite a big community, but they are constantly attacked by monsters coming from under ground. The Indigarrians, including Gorr's family, pray to the gods every day for deliverance, but Gorr refuses to do so, and secretly works on his machine even though it is forbidden. During one of the prayer meetings a beast busts out of the altar from underground, killing the high priest. The tribe searches for Gorr and finds him working on his machine. The tribal leaders capture Gorr and then they sacrifice his family hoping to appease the gods, but the sacrifice attracts a pack of reptilian doglike monsters which kill everyone but leave Gorr alive.

ACT 3

Gorr wanders the desert, mourning the loss of his family. While walking up a sand dune he sees what appears to be a comet falling to the ground, but it has an unnatural glow, being a scientist Gorr goes to investigate. As the smoke clears Gorr sees someone in the crater, but once he gets closer he is taken aback, for the figure is none other than the Indigarrians High god.
The god asks in a trembling voice for aid but Gorr is filled with rage. Gorr berates the god, asking where he was when his world was scorched or when his family died, but the god keeps asking for aid. Gorr is about to kill the god when he notices the energy emenating from it, so Gorr drags him to his machine. Gorr sees that the power in this god is exactly what he needs to power his machine and survive the coming apocalypse, so he straps him into his ship, connecting him to the power circuits. The universe begins to shake and tear apart at the seems, so Gorr hops into his machine. As the universe tears assunder around him, Gorr starts up his machine, draining the life force of the sky father and rocketing into the void.
As Gorr floats through the void he sees the universe being destroyed, time and space are as nothing in the void and just seeing the chaos tears at Gorrs mind. Gorr's machine gathers data from all around him, but out of the vast array of numbers something grabs Gorr's attention, a energy signature different. Gorr looks into the swirling void and sees it, a point of absolute blackness, the polar opposite of the gods life force, it power incalculable. Gorr steers his machine toward it, then he leaps out, embracing the darkness, as the universe implodes around him.

END OF CREDITS CUT SCENE

Gorr wakes up floating in space, then he looks down his arm and sees the black tentacles crawling up it and in his hand, ALL-BLACK THE NECROSWORD!
